Time to break out those Chuck Taylors and brace for the sweltering heat. The Warped Tour is coming to a town near you. The 2009 lineup has been announced, and this year’s acts include NOFX, Bad Religion, Flogging Molly, Shooter Jennings, and Anti-Flag. Truthfully, I don’t know which makes me feel older: the fact that the punk-rock, skater-kid bonanza is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year, or that I haven’t heard of most of these bands (The Devil Wears Prada? When, oh, when did you become more than a book and a movie?). But the 2009 lineup still has that old-school Warped Tour flair — as do the prices. Tickets will run around $25. I LOVE the Warped Tour. I haven’t missed it in 15 years (yes, I am that old). For 25 bucks, it’s still the cheapest gig around for upwards of up to 40 bands to see in a day. Devil Wears Prada = excellent band. Looking forward to Madina Lake and Scary Kids Scaring Kids. Eeek, this fanboy can’t wait.
awesome warped tour would be…nofx,bad religion,lagwagon,circle jerks,the vandals,pennywise….ya know…PUNK bands!!

nofx is the best band in the world.
I’m glad to see there are actually going to be some GOOD PUNK bands.. and not just some whiny bands about how they lost their girlfriends.

the only reason to go is nofx. the warped tour is a horrible corporation. it is hot topic and my chemical romance. it is the words gay and fail. it is what makes punk rock hard to swallow nowadays
