Is chickenfoot crap?
Well no…It’s a band of old geezers trying to keep there life style going.
Chickenfoot is a Exhibition. They are pretending to kick ass. Kind of like the Rolling stones in the last 10yrs.
It’s like selling a big large box.
Chickenfoots box is empty.

Is Chickenfoot a kick-ass band? Yes, indeed. Are they better than Led Zeppelin? Well, in a word: no. I mean, you are talking about a band which revolutionized rock, hard rock, blues rock, and even laid the foundation for heavy metal. Zeppelin is arguably the most important British band after the Beatles. And Zep was together for what, 10-15 years? And they pumped out such rock anthems as Stairway to Heaven, Kashmir, and dozens of other amazing songs. John Bonham’s drumming set the standard to which every rock drummer is measured against. So, assuming Chickenfoot could remain together as long as Zeppelin did (and we know how volatile Hagar is)we could really see how they measure up against the Zep. But so far, they sound like a mixture of Van Halen and the Chilli Peppers. As great as Satch is, he comes from the Eddie Van Halen school of guitar playing. He is not an innovator, but a developer. I seriously doubt Chickenfoot could ever rival the Zep. But they are an amazing band indeed.

Funny, this is just like David Lee Roth trying to replace Eddie with Steve Vai and Billy Shehan. Only this time Sammy took VanHalens Bassist and backup singer, and replaced JUST the VanHalens!!! GTR an Drums… too funny. Joe sounds really good I must say. So what is going on with the Chilis? Taking a little sabbatical?
