American Idol's Adam Lambert and Antony Hegarty: Musical Kin?

Antony is probably more of a coterie artist than Lambert (though his recent foray into dance music with Hercules and Love Affair resulted in a smash dance single–”Blind”–voted #7 single of the year in the Village Voice Pazz & Jop poll, one place ahead of “Viva La Vida”). He’s also won Britain’s most prestigious critics’ award– The Mercury Prize. Admittedly he is not for everyone, but he is an undeniably talented performer. A critics’ darling–but deservedly so.
we’ll see if adam ever writes anything creative on his own without some producer doing it for him. adam will keep singing covers while Antony will continue to innovate
I see some similarities with Hegerty and
Cat Stevens. But now with Adam…absolutely none. JMO I liked
Cat Stevens better though.. and Adam most of all.

Hegerty and Cat Stevens. But Adam Lambert has a voice that is better, and
a lot better stage presence than either one…Of course he hits a clink once in a while. Not many, and
they are not as bad as many people out there making records..maybe Brittany……………..?
I like Adam’s voice much more than the other fellow’s. I also think Adam’s best music is the ballad. He also looks so much more handsome with this look than he does with the “guy liner”!!

HA omg, are you serious? That guy’s vibrato makes me wanna choke him within 5 seconds. Adam doesn’t do any of that crap, jeeze. He’s like a moaning drunk having the dt’s.
Go listen to Come to Me Bend to Me Adam did in Brigadoon AT AGE 22 if you wanna make him Irish. He’s a TENOR first of all. wtf is this guy besides an “experimentalist”. omg unreal.
No wonder Kris won. People have no ears nor any appreciation for an instrument and hard work and dedication. The problem with these fans now is they all want their hero to “BE” somebody instead of just enjoying the person’s talent and offering.
