“whiskey lullaby” deserves a spot in the top ten, as well as “More than a memory”. They definitely need more country in this list if just because country singers are the unrivaled kings and queens of heartbreak songs. and Billy Joel’s “And so it goes” needs to be here too.

I 100% agree with “indieflicktrish”. Buckley’s ‘Lover, You Should’ve Come Over’ should have been on this list, and probably in the top ten. That it’s not even on it simply means the guy who made this list hasn’t heard the song. He should.
On a side note, I probably would have put Orbison’s ‘Crying’ higher and added ‘In Dreams’.
But really, not having Buckley there is a travesty.
