Nudity alert! Indie-rock duo Matt and Kim's racy new video

Lo-fi Brooklyn duo Matt and Kim must be either exhibitionists or Alanis Morrissette fans, judging by the video they just debuted for their single "Lessons Learned." Main lesson learned in this video (spoiler alert!): If you take off all your clothes in the middle of Times Square, tourists will definitely gawk at you and the NYPD will probably tackle you. Check it out below — NSFW, obviously, if your workplace frowns on pixilated anatomy — and let us know what you think. Also, watch out for that shocking surprise ending.

holy crap!!! nice ending. that scared the crap out of me.

  • Probably Androgyny

That’s one dude-looking chick. I love how they censored her back.

Pixellation is condescending, juvenile, pointless, and what else?

Even in a supposedly cutting-edge “naked” video (oooh, they were naked when they did this but you can’t see it anyway), there was maybe one shot of him frontally. So, even pixellated, we can’t be exposed to a man’s groin area? Whatev. Kinda silly and the “surprise” ending was kinda stupid. Shocking, yes. But stupid.

    I am officially a fan :)

WTF? Other than shock value, what was the point of that? Anyone? Bueller? And it was a stupid, boring song anyway.

  • Sam

That little boy had a good look!

  • Marcus

The ending was insane. It scared me as well.

“Pixellation is condescending, juvenile, pointless, and what else?”
Harmful. Censoring the human body is known to be harmful and it is especially harmful to children and young people. It is long overdue that adults stopped hiding their hang ups behind a smokescreen of misplaced concern for children.

that was um. kind of pointless. other than making the whole “naked statement” in public.

Love this song and vid. Some may say what is the point, but I say what is the point of you asking what the point is. It is art, a vid and two people doing their thing. Everything is not up for criticism. Maybe if we just enjoy things for what they are instead of wanting to change them for what we want we could have happier lives.
