Amy Winehouse's 'comeback' gig: Trainwreck alert!

Tagged:

Sigh. Yes, she’s at it again. Just when it seemed like troubled singer Amy Winehouse might be getting it together a bit — she’s been working on a new album, which, despite all of the craziness, we’re dying to hear — she’s returned with another wacky episode. Winehouse was set to play her first concert of the year in St. Lucia on Friday, but she cut the show short after a somewhat kooky set. The official reason given for the aborted concert was bad weather, but before she left the stage Winehouse had apparently been forgetting lyrics and performing erratically. At one point, she reportedly fell down. Check out a clip from the St. Lucia show below, then let us know: Are you excited for a new Winehouse album? Or have you had about enough of her sorry spectacle?

This is awful to watch…. She needs to get better for herself.. No one else but herself…

Wow, seiously? If I paid to see this I would demand my money back. The worse thing is people are chearing for her. Honestly the fans should be booing her off the stage, at least at that point she would get the hint that something is not right and maybe it’s time for help. These gigs are just ways for her to score some more drug money, cuz I’m certain she has probably burned through the money she made from her one successful album, and her one successful song.

It’s so sad to see one of my favorites like this. It honestly does break my heart. I hope she pulls through this.

What’s it gonna take for Amy to hit bottom? I don’t want it to be 6 feet under:^( Please someone (Mitch & Janis) put her away for awhile. Somewhere someone can treat not only addictions but her mental health too. She has big problems. Amy I still love you but it makes me sad to hear your music. I cried after hearing that once more you f*cked up. God help you cuz it doesn’t look like you or your family are gonna help. Where is your brother in all this? Take care! Judy

She’s become so bloody unprofessional that I refuse to buy any music from her until she gets her act together. Boycott her CD’s and concerts, otherwise she’ll never clean up the act.

I guess the good thing is she doesnt look TOO skinny and cracked out now. Hopefully thats a good sign.

Went to see Amy in St Lucia having always been a big fan, but so, so sad, she was off her head, never sang a song all the way thro’ or kept up with the band, forgot her lyrics and fell asleep at one point at the front of the stage!! she finally walked off 1/2 way thro a song leaving he fans standing in the rain. The lights did go off at one point but Amy was the problem!!! the backing band held it together for her but looked so sad to be there watching her crash and burn she was so so thin and is clearly nowhere near healthy, someone really needs to step in and sort her out.

This is really sad. She’s one of the best talents of the last decade, and doesn’t care about herself or her fans enough to actually sing. I really hope she can get it together because she’s got potential for a fabulous career.

Ugh! I have been a major fan of AW since seeing her at Coachella a couple years. Was looking forward to seeing her in LA at the Wiltern when she cancelled those shows. I was looking forward to seeing her this year at Coachella…and then she cancelled that… I love her music and it is very sad she can’t get herself together. I feel like I am in a bad relationship with someone who constantly lets me down. I keep trying to let her back in my life but I am almost done with her. If she thinks life is hard with us, think how it will be without us? Please get it together, your fans want help you move on with your life.

Seems someone is a bit toasted! She reminds me of this crazy old rich lady who lives next door to us…Mrs. Whitty always has a drink in one had a cigarette in the other she also comes complete with the beehive. I think Amy stole her look. Tisk! Well, they do say old habits DIE HARD. It is sad though she has/had a good thing going for her.

I am a huge Amy Winehouse fan, but it’s so sad to see how far she’s fallen. I wish I would have known about her music earlier when she released her Frank album … I have the B-Sides album; and her live performances then sounded amazing! Hopefully she gets her act together soon and records another amazing album!

Amy, do us all a favor and choose a new career. As what – I don’t know, because you clearly can’t do anything sober.

The public keeps paying to see her. She’s classless, she’s bad for entertainment, she needs to retire — quick! But somebody is willing to pay for her to support her drug habit.
