Adam Lambert + Susan Boyle = this dude

Simon Cowell: “It’s like a dog meowing. You know? It just… shouldn’t do that. Would I like a dog to meow? I guess I would, yeah.”

Let the international eargasm begin.

I already love this guy. I saw it on the show this past weekend, and just about freaked. I’m rooting for him. :)

    Well, he’s a pretty good soprano, but… I mean… he’s a dude. Huh?

    Um… Wow?

  • Sean

Damn…I love to be surprised and if I am only on thing right now, it’s surprised!! I hope he finds a place in entertainment because not only is he talented (if in an unusual way), but he seems like a wonderful guy too.

    Ugh, that’s horrible.

    Wow. Just, wow.
I wish they’d start airing BGT here in the states because this show continues to send my jaw dropping to the floor. It’s brilliant.

    Castrati?

So he’s a countertenor (a rather high one), what’s the big deal? They are all over the place. Go him!

    “TINY TIM” is baaaack!!
However, he does have a nice voice ~ just not coming out of ‘his’ mouth.

How is it possible that a video from Britain’s Got Talent is not available in Britain?…

  • Ellen

Hmmm, well, have watched it on YouTube…Yes, it’s very odd that he can do that, but beyond singing in tune, I can’t say it was a very enjoyable performance. There wasn’t much variation in tone, and I didn’t feel any engagement with the mood of the piece. No doubt he genuinely wants to be a success, but he needs a fair bit of work before he becomes much more than a novelty act.

An adult male soprano is such a rarity. Holy crap. I really liked it. Loved the dog meowing comment from Simon!!!

GB’s Got Talent seems a LOT more interesting than America’s. What’s up with that?
