"Total Eclipse of the Heart": The literal video

The literal-video phenomenon — in which famous music clips are recast with lyrics that express exactly what is happening visually (consistently, something fantastically silly) in a super-earnest, overly-explanatory way — is not entirely new.

But the growing genre’s latest contribution, featuring Bonnie Tyler’s deathless 1983 power ballad "Total Eclipse of the Heart," is too cramazing to withhold from you; it sags a little in the middle, but really rallies for the big finish. Please enjoy:
