The song is called “GOT SOME”, not Get Some…PJ’s official site has it named as GOT (not Get) SOME….a small but important distinction….
While I agree the sound mix wasn’t too great (first show, must still be working out the sound system/mix), the new song is BLAZING!! September can’t get here soon enough…
loved the song!!!
I used to love Pearl Jam but with each album they’ve gotten farther and farther away from the “trademark sound” that made them famous.
I know bands like to try different things in the name of creativity, like testing public opinion with a fresh sound, but getting too far away from what sounds good and sells music isn’t good.
I’m willing to give the whole album a listen, but I do hope it sounds better than that first single.
Soon they will rise again:

This is a great new song! Eddie performed a few months ago with Ben Harper, Sheryl Crow, Paul McCartney, Ringo, and others at a David Lynch Foundation benefit concert, and I was there! It was SOOOO awesome!!! He still kills it! There are some exclusive interviews with him and the others at http://dlf.tv that are really cool
And you can see some of the concert there too!

Funny…The pacing and sound of the chorus “Got Some if you need it” sounds a whole lot like DEVO’s “Got A Gut Feeling” from their first album.
What an amazing performance. the band was totally on. Great, passionate delivery by Vedder. Pearl Jam are amazing.
