It is a joy to read your article about Kris. Kris not only has amazing singing chops but also plays well viola, guitar, piano, etc…Kris is certainly a package artist. Quoted LATimes 07/08/09: Kris rose on his talent to the very top of the (American Idol) competition and found himself holding the keys to the kingdom.
I believe Kris will have a long and successful career. I feel very fortunate that I could continue enjoying more great music from Kris.

My family also loves Kris. We like to sit around in the living room in front of the HD TV viewing Kris’ video albums from the iTunes AI downloads. We have an entire collection of Kris’s performance.
I asked my husband if he wanted to see the tour. He said he rather wait for Kris’s own concert. I absolutely agreed.

I had a feeling Kris had an R&B background – so what’s with this commitment to a ’soft-rock’ sound? He needs to remember his roots and stick to an R&B/pop flavor. (Gotta admit, Kara and Randy were right in picking ‘Apologize’ for him) Anyway, I have high hopes for him and am loving that he understands how awesome Kings of Leon are! The boy knows good music!

nice article… kris keep it cool even though here in vancouver, the promtions says Adam Lambert is coming!!!! and also the rest of the top 10 including winner Kris Allen… that really hurts you know, being regelated to a supporting cast… where in fact thats true… people here are crazy checking on tickets because they want to see Adam… sorry

Thanks, Missy, for more awesome tidbits about Kris! I know you have more as you spent the whole day with him, so I am looking forward to more info being posted. Thanks for asking Kris about the music because I have been so impressed with Kris and his knowledge and control of his voice and performances. I am not surprised by his musical influences, as he does have a soul/R&B vibe. I think Kris’s musicality is his biggest talent because he almost never had a bad vocal performance on AI (even if you didn’t like the song) and he has a good grasp on his vocal capabilities. He is awesome and I thank EW for recognizing that.
