Aqua goes 'Back to the 80s': Who's coming with?

Dear Jean Bentley,
I am surprised that you even consider giving people your view on this.
Sadly you haven’t got the clue on Aqua. I was young in the 80′s and listened to Aqua in the late 90′s thanks to my young kids at that time.
Aqua is not Bob Dylan or U2… they are a simple but honest pop band (not pretending to be more than that), that actually writes some good catchy pop songs.
And they have a lot of irony about themselves and their career. (does their song ‘Carton Heroes’ ring a bell ?)
This song is packed with irony about the 80′s, i.e. i remember at least 20 top rock bands (all praised by the critics !!) with long haired rock guitars. Aqua sings = “Puddels with Rock guitars.”
How come the video looks like a second hand 80′s video (mess of laser bakground, etc.)
You don’t have to like their song, but either you are too young or lacks depth of irony to understand the project around this song.
You completely missed this one ….

Aqua are great and this is a good song with a good cheesy (in a good way) video. Always were a good band. Lene in particular. Good songs, humourous videos and a good image. Glad to see them back.
