Back in 2000, Destiny's child had a no. 1 smash with the song "Say My Name"; now Mel Gibson's pregnant Russian ladyfriend, Oksana Grigorieva, is looking to make her own name with a song of the same title — featuring lyrics actually written with Gibson.
This one probably won't be busting up the R&B charts, for a few reasons, but we'll let you judge for yourself over at People.com, which is streaming the track exclusively. Grigorieva is a classically trained pianist, and to us it sounds kind of like something you'd hear at a fancy hotel bar during cocktail hour.

I refuse to dignify Oksana’s “music career” by listening to this. Obviously she and Mel have no shame, or they’d be keeping a low profile. Mel is making a complete fool of himself playing William Randolph Hearst to Oksana’s Marian Davies. My heart goes out to his wife and children, who must be mortified!
Allow. Mel Gibson’s a tool. I’m not endorsing anything he does.
This is a nice song. I can see it being part of a movie or a TV show. Very eerie sounding.

This was pretty bad. Considering all the talent that’s out there why waste time on this!
No, not going to purchase it. It is very much like a lot of the songs I have heard a piano bars in Washington DC. This is the kind of woman we warn our sons about. Special to them, but only for a season…then poof, the move on to the next victim. Mel must have lost it.
