Carrie has had her spot light and now it’s time for someone elses. Just deal with that and move on. You can’t always be the best.
To start off, the sound in general for the entire night was off/terrible. Even Brad did not sound anywhere near up to par. Granted, I do not think Taylor is the most amazing vocalist in the world but I do believe the girl can hold her own. She does lovely in studio, and when in her element, such as her our concert she sounds great. She makes good music for her age.
And speaking of AGE, that is a key component in the music she makes. She is young and vibrant; her take on making music is not going to be the same as the ‘greats of old.’ That is what happens when new generations appear on the scene. Country music is very much alive, it just seems as though people look at mainstream as their definition of what country is. I think we all know mainstream has become very ‘pop orientated.’ But in the age we are in, there are many ways to find new artists with similar sounds as some of the greats. It’s all there, you just have to look for it.
She’s adorable and has a lot of life ahead.
Poor, Taylor Swift. It is almost embarrasing to watch her perform much less sing. But in today’s country music..talent isn’t really required. The funny part is she is so into herself and head banging her mop of hair that she doesn’t realize how RIDICULOUS SHE LOOKS!!! TOO FUNNY!
Taylor Swift is a horrible singer, perfomer, …I am not sure what talent she has besides acting ridiculous on stage that it is embarrasing to watch. People that actually think she can sing..obviously are tone deaf themselves..that fact that there is even debate whether she can sing…should be a sign right there. I mean the fact that she can sell as many records as she can ..hey more power to her…i thhink that is why there is so much debate..but in today’s country music , which by the way is not country music but glorified pop music, talent is not really a requirement..taylor is at most an “entertainer” ..musician…hell no.
Well…i’m not a Taylor hater. I haven’t listened to her music enough to give an honest opinion. But when I watched the CMT awards and saw her performance with Def Leppard I must say I was sooo embarrassed for her. I kept thinking poor girl is going to want to crawl under a rock somewhere when she watches this back. I mean her dancing was so awful i couldn’t even concentrate on the song. What was she doing??
KENNY CHESNEY IS THE BEST EVER!!! HE IS EVEN BETTER LIVE- I SHOULD KNOW I HAVE SEEN HIM 7 TIMES!!! I HAVE ALSO MET HIM AND HE IS THE NICEST GUY YOU WILL EVER MEET- AND HAS A GREAT SENSE OF HUMOR AND IS VERY POLITE…NOT TO MENTION VERY ATTRACTIVE–I CANT BELIEVE HE’S 41..HE LOOKS GREAT…………………………………..WHY WASNT KENNY SINGING AND WAS HE EVEN THERE?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????P.S. i love love love taylor swift… im glad she won video of the year…maybe shell win it next yyear too….i liked her perfomance with Def Leppard..she looked like she was havin fun….i dont relly care if some ppl hate her…i think shes amazing and nobodys gonna change that for me… i mean if yall dotn like ok then thats yalls opinion..there are a lot of ppl out there that love her…but there are also ppl out there that hate her…oh well yall have yalls opinion i have mine….
