La Brit, she's back! And spraying down racehorses in slo-mo! Among other things.
In the new Dave Meyers-directed clip (he's worked with Spears before, on "Lucky," as well as with Pink, Jay-Z, and Kelly Clarkson), Britney plays lady of the manor, slinking around the grounds of a sumptuous estate, attending a polo match in full-on Kentucky Derby giant-hat mode, making eyes at various hot uniformed players (including a 5-o'-clock-shadowed K-Fed doppelganger).
What do you think, Music MIxers, besides the fact that it totally sounds like she's saying "Operator" instead of "On My Radar"? She looks hot, blond, and sane, like the classic Brit we know and love, but you tell me if clip — and the song — is what you seek from Amy.

Could she have possible have made a more boring video. Why she would release a song too that had been on Blackout instead of one like Unusual You, a much better song, is beyond me. Sorry but I find this yawn worthy.
I agree with Susan that “Unusual You” is a MUCH better song.
I love the video! The mood doesn’t match the song, but I still think the video is really well done!
Plus couldn’t they have done something more stylized and interesting with her hair than just Real Housewives of The O.C.-ing it?
So flat and banal.

This woman needs to start dancing. I’m not watching your videos to watch you walk and lip synch, I can get that fill from your Circus Tour. Dance – woman! DANCE!!
Why, why is this person relevant? Take away the voice & synthesizer mixers (or, most likely, the singer who’s dubbing Spears singing voice – ack, there’s someone with that wretched squeal), take away the high-priced choreographer & trainer… and what’s left behind the curtain? An uneducated, brainless, no-talent woman with a diagnosed mental disorder who, most likely, would still reside in her little town in the middle of nowhere. Sheesh. Stupid song. Stupid voice. Would this chick get lost?
Great. Love Britney. She is so hot: http://www.actressscene.com/search/label/Britney%20Spears
i’ve been a britney fan since her first single came out almost 11 years ago. this, by far, is her most boring video ever. the song is also really old. any other choice from circus would have been better.
I thought this was the best song on Blackout, Britney’s best record by far. I do think the video is pretty… but this song deserves a more edgy city/club vibe video. Oh well.
Marly, why is Britney relevant? Well, she’s been one of the most successful performers of the last decade, has sold million of records, and in my opinion is doing her best studio work to date. Dance-pop obviously isn’t your thing, but as it goes, Britney is ace.
the video quality was so bad I could barely tell what was going on, they should have put it on youtube.
Agreed that “Unusual You” is a much better song. This video was boring.
She is overhyped. Proof positive that ANYONE can be made intoa megastar. The fact that she ever shared the stage with the King of Pop or is being given a second chance after her break down baffles me… she has NO talent. She sounds like a mouse and can only dance in simply choregraphed 1,2, steps. ???
Evidence: check out this wretched performance with MJ: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kOG8lwvVSmo
Nice video, but it doesn’t really work for this song. “Radar” could have used a more futuristic treatment. This video is much more relaxed and pretty.
Boring song. Boring video. I didn’t even bother to finish watching it.
Leah: You hear “Operator,” I hear “Amaretto.”
Britney is very energetic, but the video is boring as all hell. Terrible choice for the next single. How does this promote “Circus” when it was on the last album as well?
This is one of Britney’s best songs ever! Extremely catchy, great pop song.
I was expecting something different for the video. Horses and jockeys don’t have a lot to do with radars…
I’m still a little baffled as to why this song was on Circus seeing as how it’s on Blackout…I like the song but the video doesn’t vibe well with it. I was waiting for a dance break. I mean really Britney doesn’t go looking for men at polo clubs she likes dirty boys from dance clubs. I would have preferred if they’d done “kill the lights” and it was crazy high energy.
Overrated. Not a great singer or dancer or performer… never got the britney appeal.
I like Radar, but it is a song from her last freaking album! They should have released “Unusual You” instead. The video is blah, she’s back on the music map, now she needs to start making provocative videos to go with said music!
Go to youtube and watch
LITTLE MONKEY BOY CLIMBING
Hilarious video!
I thought I was going crazy! I’m glad so many people realize this is an old song. WTF? Maybe she’s in crazy mode again
RADAR promotes the CIRCUS and BLACKOUT albums since it’s included on both so I think it’s a good idea for a single release! The video is… interesting and different for Britney. Why is anyone expecting another club/dance themed music video?! She did it for Crazy, Overprotected, Slave, Boys, Gimme More… Britney is telling a story in RADAR! And she looks good! Enough said.
She can’t sing.
Snoozefest! Is she EVER going to dance again in a video? She used to be the best dancer we’ve seen since Janet Jackson but now she kind of just stands there. Even when she does dance, like in the “Circus” video, it’s lethargic and uninventive. And I agree that there were a TON of better tracks to release as the fourth single like “Unusual You”, “Shattered Glass”, “Kill the Lights”, or the absolutely amazing “Phonography”.
