I loved the whole service. It touched my heart. MJ will be sadly missed forever. Rest in peace Michael.
Smile by Jermaine. It was the MJ’s favorite and he truly sang it from his heart. MJ will always own a piece of my heart!!
THANK YOU B.JOHNSON! YOU HIT THE NAIL RIGHT ON THE HEAD! I, too had the same reaction. @ The time of the service, I refused to watch it. (I still didn’t want to believe that Michael was gone.) So instead, I kept a doctors appointment. (Ironically, like Jackson, the appointment was with a sleep doctor for my own chronic insomnia.) 3 months later, I finally got up the nerve to watch the service online. When I got to Stevie Wonder, my face & my shirt were completely soaked. I had to shut off the computer & go clean my face & change my shirt. I have yet to watch the service to it’s completion… in fact, after that moving performance of “I Never Dreamed That You’d Leave In Summer” and “They Won’t Go When I Go”, I don’t think I ever will. I just can’t. In fact, I can never listen to the original recordings of both of those songs because my mind shoots back to the service.
