We have to say, we do enjoy a two-man (or two-person; no offense to Jack and Meg!) band — after all, history is littered with great duos, from Rob Base and DJ EZ Rock to the Black Keys.
Propulsive Cincinnati rockers Bad Veins, who have shared the stage with various indie all-stars, including Silversun Pickups, the Hold Steady, Cursive, and Apples in Stereo, carry on the it-takes-two-to-make-a-thing-go-right tradition on their Dangerbird Records (home to said Silversuns, as well as the Dears and Dappled Cities).
Below, an exclusive b-side, “Fake Baby,” from the album — and for good measure, a YouTube stream of our favorite track that did make the album: “Gold and Warm.” Tell us what you think, music mixers: How do Bad Veins stand up in the history of musical duo-opoly?

as bad vein’s biggest fan (or at least their biggest girl fan, at six feet tall), i have to say that bad veins is the best thing to come out of ohio since lebron james.
well i’m not 6 feet tall, but i am a redhead – the biggest bad veins ginger fan. and i have to say that this new album is amazing and “found” is awesome live. hear them. see them.
They are so good live. The record is awesome. These guys are for real!
Fuzzed out guitar work, military-tight drumming and phenomenal song-writing sum it up. Get on board before your annoying friend starts twittering about the Bad Veins after they show up on The Hills and Gossip Girl. They’re gonna be everywhere.
