Poison: they seem like more fun at a party, the guys who became rock stars just to get girls, not to actually make music. Hall and Oates make music.
I still listen to Savage Garden to this day & feel no guilt about it. Beautiful lyrics & voices.
Hall & Oates all the way! One of my favorite pleasures, guilty or otherwise.
They had a lot of great songs that weren’t overplayed at all.
The first time I heard “Private Eyes” on the radio, the song wasn’t half way over before I had already begun clapping with the claps in the song. And the pseudo mullet/fro and mustache combo=magic.

Well I prefer Hall & Oates but they aren’t a guilty pleasure at all…I’ll admit I love ‘em any day. They have great music. Poison on the other hand is pretty terrible.
Proud to be an AVID Hall & Oates fan, no guilty about it, these guys personify musicianship!
