Madonna’s manager Guy Oseary used his Twitter page to solicit readers’ suggestions of what should be included in the set, and then worked with the singer to hone a final list. Find out which classics are in — and what’s new — after the jump:

Amongst the new stuff: A collaboration with Lil Wayne (“Revolver”), the already-leaked title song, unedited and never before seen footage of  “Justify My Love,” and previously unreleased videos, including “Into The Groove” and “Give It 2 Me,” as well as the new video for “Celebration.”

So what do you think, Music Mixers? Will your previously cherished copy of Immaculate Collection be demoted to drink-coaster status, or are there crucial Madge moments missing here?

where’s american life? i would have liked to have the unedited version of the video. and the songs not on there either.

    • crispy

American Life, seriously? That’s like the worst song Madonna has ever recorded.

    • Lance

i agree about the vid. i have a feeling she wants forget the debacle on that one.

    • Nick

I think the album “American Life” is one of Madonna’s most underrated albums, it is actually one of my favorites by her because it really different from other things she has done.

      • Hannah

Oh I SO agree. It’s my favorite album. I was kind of hoping this compilation would introduce songs like Nobody Knows Me, I’m So Stupid, Mother and Father to a greater audience…

    • jake

I agree with Nick…I STILL play American Life CD more than most of her others. “Love Profusion”, “Hollywood”, “Mother and Father”: some of her best tracks.

      • matt

American Life is a hugely underrated song and album.

      • Ellipsian

Absolutely: “American Life” is an incredible album and is horribly underrated. It’s a shame that the title song–which is admittedly one of the album’s weaker points, though still not a bad song–overshadowed the brilliance that follows. “Nothing Fails” ranks as one of my fave Madge songs ever.

      • MADGESTY

Love Profussion. Beautiful piece of work. That is definitely missing. Agreed, that album is incredibly underrated.

      • Ronald

Yeah! American Life and Erotica are hidden masterpieces by the one and only Queen of Pop. Ever wonder which artist can top these huger-than-life singles? Noone can ever.

    • Ari

i agree! american life’s video is amazing!!

    • Nate

I knew this was in NO WAY going to please everyone and their mother because she’s so huge and there’s just NOT ENOUGH room here for everything..one day….. But I do have to agree I was looking forward to the American Life video. I understand that Bad Girl and Oh Father and the rest are all available on prior releases and they wanted to make room for other gems like Erotica and Deeper and Deeper (great video) but not including American Life-the director’s cut-is a big let down. I’m still gonna buy it all though. Madonna is the only person I’ll buy it all over and over and over and over again.

    • theo

a lot of my favorite videos are missing, like oh father, bad girl, fever, this used to be my playground, substitute for love, paradise not for me, nothing really matters, why? those are top videos.. she could have easily left out some other ones like miles away, love profusion, get together and jump. anyway, at least erotica and deeper and deeper made it in, although i’m really going to miss the ones i mentioned earlier..

      • Edgar Colon

You can find oh father, bad girl and substitute for love in previous video collections.

    • Jerry Stevenson

It’s going to be released in Europe, ironic huh?

  • Nick

I think this is a great look back at Madonna’s Warner Brothers years. I am excited to have these songs all remastered for better sound on my iPod for sure.

I wonder why she left off the video for “Bad Girl” which has Christopher Walken and Directed by the fantastic David Fincher. Maybe not such a big hit, oh well.

    I am buying them both!

    • sarah d

For sure! Bad Girl is one of my favorites!

    • Fatima

Without Bad Girl, this set isn’t worth much to me. Human Nature not on the track list is a low blow to me too. I always seem to like the forgotten Madge singles.

    • jake

I heard this amazing torch singer cover version of “Bad Girl” …been trying to remember who sang it!! Boy George also did a version.

  • StaleCake

Wow, she eally has had a lot of hits in her 25 years at the top of the charts!

But why didn’t they make it a solid 40 hits? It is missing my all time favorite hit, “Human Nature”, because it contains the best line for all occasions in life:
“I’m not your b*tch don’t hang your sh*t on me.”

  • dawn

Great list! Most of her definitive hits are in the collection. Missing though is American Life video – I guess now that this will not see the light of day, the original clip for that controversial song is a must-have among her fans.

    • jake

Its on youtube…its great! The bloody fashion show and all..I love it

  • Mark Gravel

Where is American Life video? Otherwise the choices are great for the DVD! Very pleased!

  • Tybra

I agree, where’s the Bad Girl video? Or Oh Father? Now I have to keep my old video collections. And where’s Deeper And Deeper on the CD?

    • TW

Agreed on both “Deeper and Deeper” (an awesome track) and “Oh Father” – probably her most emotional track. Two more losses.

      • James The Greatest

I think this set focuses less on her ’90s work because a.) she wasn’t as commercially successful then as in the ’80s and b.) this era was already remastered and featured on “GHV2″.

  • TW

It’s a shame “This Used to Be My Playground” was left off. Great song closing an unbelievable movie. Same ommission sentiments with “Rain”. Those two definitely should have made the double-cd cut. Will the itunes version have additional tracks?

    • MultiPass

Agree! Playground also hit number 1, so you’d think it would be more likely than I Want You or bedtime story. Ah well.

  • Keith

Where are Human Nature, Rain, Deeper & Deeper, Get Together and 3 of my all time favorites from Ray of Light: Power of Goodbye, Nothing Really Matters and Drowned World. Power of Goodbye is one of her greatest ballads of all time. I could have gone without Who’s That Girl and had one of the classics replace it.

    • Lance

Who’s that Girl had yet to appear in a Greatest Hits collection, and a lot of people made a fuss that she left a #1 hit off the Immaculate Collection. I’m personally glad it’s here.

  • Scott

the DVD set looks fantastic, and I will certainly be buying that, but I can’t imagine buying the CDs. I already have all of those songs, having downloaded ‘Celebration’ off iTunes. And I’m sure “Revolver” will be made available soon enough. The one glaring omission for me is “Causin’ a Commotion”!!! I LOVE that song and it doesn’t appear on either of her previous two GH packages. WTF Madonna? :)

  • James The Greatest

The only egregious omission here is “American Life”. It was a Top 40 hit. (Meanwhile, “Hollywood” and “Miles Away” never even charted on The Hot 100.) Let’s hope that Warner will release some additional rarities albums in the future. Madonna has a treasure trove of unreleased tracks and remixes that her fans would DEVOUR. (Best case scenario? A “Complete Madonna” set similar to iTunes’s U2 and Depeche Mode collections.)

  • jesse

    wait,…how could she not include:

    “wheres my metamucil”

    “check out granny in lingerie”

“paying guys to date you so idoits think youre hip and attractive”

and the set wouldnt be complete without

how to pay off desperate 3rd world countries so you can shop for babies like they were a pair of shoes”

no album would be complete with out these gems!!

    • Lance

      you’re an idiot.

    • Fatima

You have all the grace and levity of a young Jay Leno writer.

    • jake

      Dont quit yer day job

    • MultiPass

I think her fans would be more interested in hearing:

“I Enjoy You Being Fascinated By Me, Good or Bad”

      OR

“Everyone Gets Old Including You, A$$hat, But I Was and Still Am Way Hotter Than You Could Ever Be”

      and

“The People Who Make Such an Effort to Hate Me Are Probably Deeply Unhappy and Pathetic But Secretly Own Millions of My Songs and I Laugh All the Way to the Bank”

      and

      “Smile, it’s Free”

      • razor

HAHAHAHAHA… fabulous comeback. I am SO buying the DVD.. already have all the rest.

    • Edgar Colon

Come on jesse… 25 years of career and you are still talking about the eternal queen of pop!
Oh grandaddy jesse it looks you are really fascinated with your Madgesty.

  • Twist

Long Live Madonna! Madonna Forever! American Life is missing….

  • crispy

You people are nuts! I’d sooner stab my ears with a #2 pencil than listen to this ever again: “I’m drinking a Soy latte, I get a double shotte, it goes all through my body, And you know I’m satisfied”

    • jake

A lot better than “Bedtime Story” (“today is the last day that I am using words….”) lol

      • crispy

LOL Ok, “Bedtime Story” is actually my 2nd favorite Madonna track of all time. And those lyrics were penned by none other than Bjork… I think they’re very surreal.

    • Nate

And yet you sure know them lyrics by heart!

      • crispy

Uh, I copy/pasted from LyricWiki. Is that really that hard to imagine?

  • Harry

American Life my fave Madonna song ever is missing :-(

Other then that it is a good track listing

  • dustinM

Where’s “true blue” or “causing a commotion” on the CD? i am very disapointed!! My 2 all time faves which were number 1 in the billboard top 100 are not in the CD!!

    • Lance

neither of those were #1 on the Hot 100.

      • dustinM

yeah they were! look it up TESTISUCKER!

      • Jeff

I believe “Commotion” peaked at #2 and “True Blue” at #3. Not #1, but both big hits.

    • Lance

um, no they weren’t. list of #1 hits:
      “Like a Virgin”
      “Crazy for You”
      “Live to Tell”
      “Papa Don’t Preach”
      “Open Your Heart”
      “Who’s That Girl”
      “Like a Prayer”
      “Vogue”
      “Justify My Love”
“This Used to Be My Playground”
      “Take a Bow”
      “Music”

true blue peaked at #3 and causing a commotion peaked at #2 on the Hot 100.

      idiot.

      • Edgar Colon

        You are completely right Lance!
