Only if he is a citizen of this country does out constitution apply to him. Otherwise our government can cancel anything they want, when they want. Not saying that our government had anything to do with this but some people are saying “the first ammendment” is protection. The promoters are right for cancelling him.

All you people kill me! I have worked with a number of gay men, and women, who made terrible comments about other gays and lesbians. People love to jump on the bandwagon and bash someone else for saying something stupid but most of us turn around and do the exact same thing. Point is, Who cares what this guy sings about? If you don’t like him or his music don’t go.At the same time it is just music and if listening to someone’s music makes you want to go out and hurt someone maybe you need help?

Just wondering if anybody has ever heard of Rush Limbaugh? Where are all you patriots when he spues his hate bile on the radio?

freedom of speech, which several people have mentions also comes with responsibilities…for example…it’s illegal to yell “fire” in a theater…of course he has the right to spew hatred and the people who cancelled his concerts also have the right to say thanks, but no thanks….as for the protests that caused the cancellations i’d like to remind you of a saying from hitler germany…”first they came for the communists, and i did not speak out..because i wasn’t a communist..then they came for the trade unionists, and i did not speak out..because i was not a trade unionist, then they came for the jews, and i did not speak out..because i was not a jew…then they came for ME..and there was no one left to speak out”

BEING BLACK IS NOT A CHOICE NO MATTER HOW YOU LOOK AT IT. BEING GAY OR LESBIAN IS A CHOICE. YEA, WEVE HEARD IT BEFORE I HAD THESES FEELING SINCE I WAS BORN BLAH, BLAH ,BLAH, I’M SURE YOU DID BUT YOU DID NOT HAVE TO ACT UPON THOSE FEELINGS. I’VE HAD PLENTY OF FEELINGS SINCE I WAS A KID,LIKE ROBBING A BANK OR KISSING A FROG, BUT I HAVE A ENOUGH CONTROL OVER MY BODY NOT TO DO IT. BUT ON THE OTHER HAND PUT A PENIS NEAR A GAY GUY AND HE WILL GRAB IT A ND KISS IT EVERY TIME.

people might hate the truth but i am glad that God is not a raggae artist for if he was only straight men and women would enter heaven.
It is easer for rapist to enter through a needle eye than for a gay man to enter into Zion.

Buju’s song(BooM)was created in response to actual crime commited by child rapist pedophile murderer? Why are you protecting child rapists? Your anger is misplaced. Your own society treats you horribly wrong. Why not boycott them? e.g artists Guns & Roses,Emanem lyrics are not exactly supporting you.Its easy to pick on small countries & persecute & lynch black artists FOREVER.(easy targets).Your justifiable anger is misplaced. What churches /religious organizations are you boycotting?Let us know. Why the double standard? Why target Buju( to deprive him forever of a livelihood while ignoring your native artists who continue to hurt you?

Hooray! :-) we don’t need violent lyrics directed about harming gays. This is 2011 & this is the USA. No wonder Jamaica is the most violent country per capita in the western hemisphere. Keep your primitive poison there.
