I’ll be honest, when I first heard the song, the intro threw me off. My first thought was “Oh God..why?”. But I listened to it all the way through and loved it by the end. As for the video, I wasn’t too sure about the whole “vampire” theme. Even as a lover of vampires, I didn’t see how involving the boys in the vampire phenomenon that is sweeping the nation’s entertainment business would benefit them. I’m still not convinced that portraying the boys as “vampire slayers” (which is essentially what they are here) in this video was the best way to go. The one thing I hated about the video was the end when the boys are leaving the club after killing the vampire and they’re doing the close-ups. Their eyes just look horrible. It seems like, the effect trying to be achieved was to make their eyes glow red instead of simply being red contacts. It just completely makes them look fake and I think it was horrible. But that is the only problem I have with the video, and all in all it is actually one of my favorite videos they boys have done.
