Just give Taylor Swift get as much nods as she want, because she will not win as much as Carrie, trust me! Taylor is confirmed not the winner of EOTY and FVOTY.
I agree give her the nomination but she will not win FVOTY because I’ve heard her live and she can’t sing. As far as EOTY, she worked her tail off and she is entertaining to ten yr. olds so thats fine there but she won’t win.
And to say that ACM EOTY is fan voted and why Carrie won is very misleading, it is mainly industry voted with fans only a small percentage. On paper crunch the numbers on #1′s, radio, itunes, sales,concert numbers, people played to, votes, charity work, tv appearances-Carrie beat Kenny hands down on all of it. He played 57 shows she played 137 and both played to 1million+ people. So I think your comment in the article is not entirely correct.
I will second that thelistkeeper. The flatts were robbed yet again. I just cannot believe it. The so deserve being nominated for EOTY, album,single and song oh and yes video of the year as well. It is just a shame that the industry does not show them the recognition the so deserve.
A country music show…..and there’s very few “real country” singers/entertainers on it!! Anymore its just a waste of time to watch. Personally, I fast forward through the rock/other singers to get to the ones like George Strait, Reba and Brooks & Dunn (actual country singers) just like I do the commercials…they’re not worth the time to watch. No matter how many awards they win.
To Jolt: Rascal Flatts were in the biggest movie of the summer? Ummm… I didn’t realize the Flatts were in Transformers 2… Did I miss something?
Brad Paisley for Entertainer of the Year! He consistently gives us great music. He is a fantastic singer, writer and musician. I hope he takes each category. If he doesn’t win EOTY, I’ll be okay with Keith….just as long as it isn’t Kenny Chesney.
I can completely understand why Taylor was nominated for EOTY. If there is one person there who didn’t deserve that nomination, it’s George Strait. Sugarland, Carrie or Rascal Flatts should’ve been nominated in his place. Sure he’s king and all but everyone knows that he’s only getting his nominations because of the want to nominate a legend. Hopefully it’s Brad Paisley for EOTY this year. He should also win Album and Male Vocalist. Female vocalist for Carrie (if not her, Miranda). The only thing that I see for Taylor is a possible “video of the year”. Leanne Womack was snubbed for female vocalist and album of the year. She wopuld’ve been a much better choice than Martina or Taylor for FVOTY because Martina’s new record isn’t that good. They shouldn’t even be nominating Taylor for female vocalist because the title says “VOCALIST”.

Taylor Swift for FVOTY??? That’s joke right? Because she cannot to sing her live! KILL a GOAT more like. Leanne Womack deserves the FVOTY nomination way more than Taylor Swift. And give me Brad Paisley of Entertainer of the Year, please.

It is actually funny to see Taylor listed as a nominee for FVOTY alongside other such talented women. Furthermore, to call her a “country” artist is completely ridiculous…she would much rather win a VMA than a CMA, even when it seems she has just as many haters over there in the pop realm (Kanye?)
I just hope that she begins to burn out; I don’t know how much I can hear about her anymore. She has minimal vocal talent and is completely overrated writing wise; her songs have no varying theme or issue – we get it Taylor, you either hate or love boys.
