LOVED, LOVED, LOVED it! It will be a big hit.

  • Cinn

Love it, can’t wait to hear the rest of the album, even though I know it isn’t completely finished!!

  • mtlfan

love the new song. It’s catchy, nice message and love his voice! <3

  • Linda

Disappointed! What happened to the Kris we all loved on Idol? Cheesy song. I am sad.

    • Danielle

      Huh?

    • Matt

I have to agree with you Linda. This is not at all the sound I thought I would hear from Kris. While it is different, and that would be ok, but why pick this as your first single? Not much caring for this song. But still will buy the album because I believe in Kris.

    LOVE IT!!! Go, Kris!

  • Walt

It is note for note the same song by the Script. Why would they do this to Kris? They didn’t even let him change it up ANY! Good going Jive! Fail-it’s a credibility issue.

don’t love it/don’t hate it — although I hate the”rap” part — kris just can’t pull that off…over all a little bland, a little vanilla — just like Kris! but i am sure that his fans will make it a hit….the song is mildly catchy

    • Ashtrash

Rap?? Um…did we listen to the same song?

    • Jess

nice to know that when critiquing a song, you also feel compelled to critique the personality of the person singing the song?…

Another karaoke AI contestant singing a cover song, this one from the band, The Scripts. It’s basically sung the same as the original!

    • Andy

BUT how many Americans will know this is a cover song? Do you think before you speak? o.O

    • Ladonna

I don’t think you guys understand that The Script is not releasing this song as a single. Kris own’s the rights to this song.

  • jl

love it …… a hit for sure

  • Val

I’m sorry I’m just not into it at all. Plus its nearly identical to The Script’s version. I was holding out hope that one of the guys from this season of Idol would make it big. I’m sincerely doubting that now. Especially if Lambert’s single is also regurgitated soft rock.

    • Lynne

It does sound like The Script version, only more chessy. Atleast The Script version I can listen too. Not this one. Sorry Kris you just lost me as a fan. NEXT!~~

      • shauna

Really? Because of one song, you are no longer a fan?

      • Ben

haha Lynne… trying to disguise yourself as a “fan”, lol

      • Dick

Be, why are you all over the place saying negative things towards people who don’t agree with you? What is your problem?

  • Heather

I really like it! Congrats to Kris! LOL at all the people bemoaning that the guys from The Script wrote it. So, they never released it, it has NEVER been on the radio before, Kris chose to record it so good for him. Yeah, you can hear the Script’s version on youtube, and it’s a good song. They sold it, now it is Kris’s good song.

  • Whit

Not feeling it. I loved the snippet last week but when you put it in the whole song, something is odd. Too wordy. I probably won’t buy this one. I’ll wait for his next one.

  • Asia

I was wanting him to Allenize it! THis is terrible. It is note for note, word for word of a cover song. Didn’t the Scripts sing it when they opened for PM this summer?

  • Heather

Oh, and NO, The Script do not sing this in their concerts, LOL.

    • BewareOfBears

Yeah, actually they did when opening for Paul McCartney this summer.

  • jamie

Great tune, and love, love, love his voice. Terrific first single.
