Rock Band is coming to the iPhone! EW’s Margaret Lyons reveals in the pages of our latest issue, on stands this Friday, that EA, MTV Games, and Harmonix will release an iPhone/iPod Touch version of the popular rhythm game next week. Much like a miniature version of regular Rock Band, the app will involve tapping four spots on the iPhone screen in time with guitar, bass, drum, and vocal parts.
We also have a list of the 20 core songs that will come with the app. See them all after the jump.

I was looking forward to either a Rock Band or Guitar Hero app, but these developers need to realize that tracklistings mean everything! I avoided Guitar Hero 5 just for that reason!
My thoughts, exactly. I’m a big RB fan, but I’m not buying this because of the track list.
Ditto! I don’t really care for the tracklist! NOT my type of music!I love Gutiar Hero/Rock Band BUT I will not be getting this for my I Phone!
…that it will cost $.99 per song when they roll out a DRC for this.
RIDICULOUS!
wow good track listing but especially happy that they decided to put learn to fly and everlong, foo fighters are the best
hey EW if you want us to tap out our comments shouldn’t you make your site a little more iphone friendly?
here, here!
I was looking forward to this, until I saw the track list. Thanks, EW – you just saved me 10 bucks!
Tap Tap Revenge was a take off of Rock Band, and now Rock Bank took TTR’s iPhone gameplay. 1/2 the soundtrack rocks, but I’m not going to pay that much for it, when i can play TTR for free. Not that I even play it much.
