I think that every one is missing the point that miley is trying to make. She was using twitter to keep her FANS updated and stay in contact with them NOT the MEDIA. Everything she post, the media turns it in to something else.

In my opinion i think its good that ppl r leaving twitter, myspace, and facebook. and i got nothing agaisnt her leaving it too. but then again i really dnt think my opinion or any of yours matter to her. Shes famous, cute, got alot of cash, and doesnt need to care about wat yall think. Ok, here is the honest truth. She’s still a kid. She’s what 16? 17? 1) she is too young to be a role model. Yeah, media says she’s one and paints her as one, but honestly (2) SHE IS STILL A KID. And as kids go, kids do stupid things, irresponsible things, things people disapprove of. Just because she’s famous doesn’t make her exempt from doing the inevitable. Most likely we’ve all done things worse than her but since we aren’t famous, it’s not plastered on the news. When you become famous, you sacrifice the gift of privacy. Thus, she does one thing that makes someone somewhere raise an eyebrow, it’s going to be all over the media. I just hope it doesn’t turn her into Lindsey Lohan or anyone else who went down crazy road. Give the girl a break though, she’s young; she won’t always be thinking things through 100% all the time.
