Isn’t it amazing how the internet provides this story with coverage? before this I believe only thsoe of us that live in the UK would have known about thsi tragedy.
Though my music tastes differ by extremes to Boyzone I cna not help but remmeber the 90′s, growing up in the UK and with Boyzone as one of the most popular boybands in the country. i think they are an excelent Irish export and Ireland should be proud to have them. The death of a Gay Icon when gay culture is really only just becomming accepted in the world is a sad thing, although im sure he will be remembered for years to come.
I’m so sorry to hear these tragic news. I’m praying for all of you. I feel so so so sorry my tears are covering my face. I love you all and always had admire your voices. God will be with all of you. Carmen Luna.
I’m from the U.S. and flew to Dublin just to see Boyzone in 2000. Stephen and Ronan’s voices together was truly magical. I was shocked and so sad to read of Stephen’s death.
I will admit as well that I like the group. Especially ‘No Matter What’. What I found obviously lacking in the comments except for one person was how much of a following this group had in a lot of the gay communities around the world. But I guess even Gay people are even afraid to mention how much they liked the group.
RIP Stephen..he was such a kind and sensitive soul. Still can’t believe that he’s gone! Will always love you Stephen. Stephen was not from the UK- he was from Dublin in the republic of Ireland as is the rest of the group. Show some respect!
No matter what is a great song I am from the UK, some of you Americans don’t have a clue, I mean come on you voted for Bush!
Forget it, I’m a fan of bz, tt and westlife, maybe a little over protective…
