Singer Michael Bublé does not wear outlandish makeup onstage. Nor does he boast a notably large tongue (as far as I know, anyway). But that didn’t stop the singer besting Kiss in this week’s chart war. Bublé grabbed pole position on the Billboard 200 chart with his album Crazy Love, which sold 132,000 copies, despite the CD only being on sale for three days. (The collection’s release was pushed up to last Friday, in all likelihood to capitalize on his Oprah appearance.) But don’t cry, Kiss! That would make a dreadful mess. Also, your Sonic Boom did hit the No. 2 spot, by shifting 108,000 copies, which makes it the quartet’s highest charting album ever. Rounding out the top three was Toby Keith’s new opus American Ride, which sold 90,000 while the Backstreet Boys snagged their seventh consecutive top 10 album thanks to the 42,000 sales and No. 9 placing of This Is Us.

Michael Buble is a really wonderful and refreshing singer in this day and age of mixed tracks and vocalizers. He is old school, smooth voice and a dreamy face. I love EVERYTHING he does!!
He is. I saw his cd at Starbucks yesterday and I found myself wishing that he was on the menu.
I wish David Foster would unleash the talent of Renee Olstead – she is the most talented singer of this generation – Buble is good as well

Buble is totally awesome. He has a wonderfully rich voice. However, I have found a few songs over-orchestrated, but on second thought I do need new headphones for my Ipod. “Some Kind of Wonderful” (found on the Bonus Track for “Crazy Love” album) is one of my favorite Marvin Gaye songs and Buble has made it one of my favorite Buble songs as well.

I simply adore Michael Buble–his concerts are as amazing as his previous CDs. But this new album is sorely disappointing. Almost all of the arrangements are overdone.
I agree. I have all of his albums and the DVDs, I think this is definitely the weakest album. I still like it a lot, but his last album was much better.

I bought the CD a day after it came out. LOVE MICHAEL BUBLE…I own all his CDs and listen to the all the time. He is fantastic – an amazing singer, performer, and songwriter as well.
I have been a Kiss fan since I was a kid but I have also been a fan of Buble since I first heard him. I’ve seen both of them live at least 4 different times and each and both really know how to work the crowd. Props to both for taking the # 1 and 2 spots!
The makeup isnt that scary, but Shannon Tweed’s pulled-too-tight plastic surgery face sure is!
I am extremely disappointed that KISS wasn’t able to debut at No. 1. After so many years in the business and such success, they DESERVE to have a No. 1 Album to their credit. And here comes Michael Buble, pushing his album up a few days to squash the KISS dreams! And yet, I am that rare fan of both. I am as at home singing along to “Save the Last Dance for Me” as I am “Lick It Up”!

Who the hell is Michael Buble? I agree with the comments about KISS. The new album is terrific and the tour is fantastic. I bet 35 years from now nobody will remember Michael Buble.
Yeah becuz “Lick It Up” is such a work of genius. Old hasbeens who should be put out to pasture with the other diseased animals.
Its not about being a work of genius. You like most obviously do not get what KISS is about.
*raises hand* Another fan of both Buble and KISS. But the only album I plan on buying this year is Adam Lambert’s.

This album, Crazy Love is wonderful. I don’t think it is overdone. Just the right mix of tunes. Although I like some Kiss stuff, Michael’s raw talent shows through and takes the top and is well deserved.
I love Michael Buble. Favourite version of ‘Crazy Love’ is from Irish singer Brian Kennedy.
wow i cant’t beleive this im both a Michael Buble fan and a KISS fan well congratulations to both,but i absolutley think KISS’ album should’ve debuted at #1 i hve both cds and there both good but in my book KISS should have got #1
