Last night Rihanna tweeted to her fans (and EW confirmed) that November 23 will see the release of her first album since 2007’s R&B smash Good Girl Gone Bad. In her words: “The wait is ova.”
So once we get ova the wait, what kind of album can we expect to hear? We know Justin Timberlake—who worked with her on “Rehab”—is a producer on her new record, and it looks like their collaboration has been fruitful if their supposedly cozy public behavior is any indication.
Timberlake talked about RiRi’s new album at the Emmys: “It’s a little more grown up. It’s got some edge to it.” Also collaborating with her are Drake, Ne-Yo, Akon, and even one of the All-American Rejects.
Any surprise guests? Well, after they gelled so well on “Run This Town,” we wouldn’t be surprised if it turns out Jay-Z or Kanye stopped by the studio at some point to spit a verse for her still-unnamed album.
And when we talked to fellow Caribbean sensation Sean Kingston a few weeks ago, he mentioned he had submitted three songs for Rihanna’s new disc, telling us, “Everybody liked the songs, so we’ll see where it goes.”

Would love to see a few cameos, but she shouldn’t really on the featured artists too much (like Keri Hilson). Rihanna can hold her own ground.
it’s funny u mention both hilson and rihanna. i’ve always thought that keri is the more talented version of rihanna (better voice and can dance), but she doesn’t get the songs rihanna’s people can get for rihanna, and she came on the scene after rihanna.

If she does have collaborations on her album, I hope they’re a little left field. I’m tired of every pop/r&b record having collaborations from Lil Wayne, Drake, and Kanye. No disrespect to them, but they’re a little overexposed.
She should have learned a lesson when Chris Brown gave her a crack. No one wants to see you, get lost.

Justin Timberlake as a producer is a horrible idea. That “Rehab” song they had together was pure album filler vile. Her voice is beyond annoying & she should thank Jesus every night for The Dream giving her “Umbrella.” I was hoping she was done with music & was sticking to her career of showing up in random places with horrid fashion choices.
I’m not quite sure how friendly RiRi is with Weezy sinve, he has always been Chris brown’s boy, even appearing on his come back single, “I Can Transform Ya”, so I would be VERY doubtful if Lil Wayne appeared on RiRi’s new disc. The King of Guest Verses & Remixes has actually yet to record a track with her…or rather release a track with her. Wonder if the duet with Lady Gaga “Bad Girl” that leaked back in the Spring will make the cut since both Rihanna and Gaga’s re-release are BOTh dropping that week….

Barbados isn’t that big that Rihanna can do a tour.We are only 166sq miles.It is an excellent idea,don’t know what her management is waiting for.
Performing for bajan is not an easy task,you have to know how to get us to move,not that you aren’t a good performer but that is just how bajan enjoy shows.Hope it soon happens.

Trust me she has not ruined Chris. Chris has already made a comeback with his new single being number 1 on i-tunes and then replaced at 2 with “forever”. He is headlining a concert and going on a mini fan appreciation tour. Not to mention his album is coming out in December. Chris is back and just getting started baby!
