      so funny.

I just saw her single cover online, and I am so sick of her “edgy” appearance…Sometimes, scratch that, most of the time it is just way too much….It gets old real fast and is actually unreactionary…Her severe hair styles and clothing choices make me sometimes just makes me want to cut myself…I wish she would just put on a cute sun dress and skip through a flowery meadow…Life should be more fun! (BTW I absolutely love her music, just think she should go in a different direction—flirt with being dark, but don’t go over the line)

While I sort of agree with your comment (her clothing choices can be a bit overwrought sometimes), I don’t really think cut sun dresses and larks through flowery meadows would quite fit her recent musical styles.

the single is awful. i was expecting something uptempo and strong, like umbrella. russian roulette sounds like a b-side from the latest pussycat doll’s cd.

    i was hoping more…

I am Raoel Doelahasori from Suriname, SOuth America, and as a fellow Caribean Citizen, i have lot of well wishes for Rihanna, i am also working on a music carreer, she is a icon for The Caribean–luv you-Russian Roulette is very nice, Rihanna

just listened to the song, blah… what is this supposed to mean? shes playin a game of russian roulette in love? gross. disturbing. someone needs to help this girl.

    • Sherena

Idk, I find gross, disturbing things INTERESTING, not blah.

Plus. Excellent word choice. Disturbing = Disturbia… meaning she’s doing an excellent job segueing in from the mood of her last smash hit, yes?

  • Stewart

FAIL…i just listened to it and it didn’t do much for me…i guess the huge hype over the new single got me… “The wait is over” entrance for 2 seconds on the website sounded hotter than the new single…maybe they should switch to that one

This girl is not talented. She doesn’t write her own songs. Rihanna is a pretty face with a forced weird image and of course the sheep buy into it. This girl is an entertainer not an artist. I could care less about her or her stupid dance music.

    • toodles

while i do like her music (she gets the best people to make her great songs), i agree with you. the absolute proof is when you watch her perform live. she has absolutely no stage presence at all–she’s like a robot. and she doesn’t even dance. she’s purely a “studio singer”.

    • wakeforce

Back up the money truck, ’cause Rihanna is raking it in! Itmust gall you to no end that someone you think is not talented is making more money than you will in your entire life! Bwahaha! Keep making that dough, Rihanna while your detracters are crying in to their Styrofoam cups!

      • to wakeforce

you must be soulless if you think money is all that matters. i bet you make minimum wage too. you’re life is so pathetic that you have nothing better to do than post on the EW blogs all the time. analyze that hahaha!!

  • chris c

    WHO CARES?

  • artu_r

    love RIHANNAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

  • john

i like it. the melody reminds me a little of Fergie’s big girls dont cry.
