Adam Lambert's 'For Your Entertainment' sound clips hit the web early

Can’t wait three more torturous weeks for Glambert’s debut to drop? Be sated, child, by amazon.co.uk, the British arm of the books-plus behemoth: They’ve got 30-second teasers of all 19(!) tracks currently up on their site.

Get thee to it, Glamborinas, and pick your early favorites. The bananas falsetto on prance-prance-revolution “Music Again,” a collaboration with The Darkness’ Justin Hawkins, had me at high-pitched hello, though that may be because (Braggy McBraggerson) I got to hear it in full last week at an EW listening session.

But you tell me — loving what Señor One Glove has to offer, or wishing he would cover both ears while he’s at it?

He looks like Boy George..when he was younger. Adam should like remake some of the songs that would like rule!

    • Nino

Adam is not a rocker that is for sure. He is a phony.

      • Mandi

Nino stop with your BS, you are a phony yourself. Get over it!

      • Nino, grow up please!!

Go away and watch some cartoon please!! Childish!!

      • DJ

All I can say is reference Christina Aguilera’s “Keeps Gettin Better”…is almost the same song as “for your entertainment”

      • chris

Judging from the first single, you’re right, he’s not a rocker. A rocker wouldn’t dare record a song like that. It would be career suicide, and all rock credibility would go out the window. I think that most Adam fans are dillusional, and actually thinks that he’s a rocker because he mimics and dresses like a rocker. So, I guess you’re right.

      • Matt

We are NOT delusional, we like the record, all you haters keep bringing up the rocker thing. His fans know who Adam is so I think you can move on now.

      • Maggie_sev

I just can’t help responding to people that think a rocker would never wear makeup. Try looking up Ozzie Osbourne. Or better yet, look up the album cover for Edgar Winters’ They Only Come Out at Night. Rockers have been wearing makeup (esp guy-liner) for decades.

      • marlock276

We who get how crazy talented Adam is know that he’s not just a “rocker.” He’s being himself, and making music that he likes: rock, pop, techno, etc. If you don’t like him or his music, MOVE ON!!!

      • Andrea

Nino, I understand your sentiment about Adam not being a “rocker.” But the truth is Adam can do rock really well, and can do a lot of other things JUST as well. He will probably never get rock cred after coming off of AI,but so what? I have read and listened to a number of interviews Adam did after the show, and he said his album would contain some elements of rock. He himself never maintained he was going to do strictly rock. It was the judge on AI who called him a “Rock God,” and “a rock star waiting to happen,”I think a lot of fans who loved his rock performances got carried away with that. I happen to love his rock performances, but also love his other stuff. I hope he will collaborate with more rock artists in the future. I also loved Alison’s rock vibe on the show, and if you heard her first single, it is very pop….like a Miley Cyrus song…..not rock at all. I am hoping for more rock influence from her later on as well. If Adam and Alison can be more successful in the real world, maybe that will open up the doors for more rock and roll singers to succeed in the music indutry.

      • Luke

you people are so pathetic….arguing over 30sec snippets, grow up ppl! thank god you’re all nobodies, hallelujah, I don’t think the world is ready for ppl like you.
FYI, I like the single FYE…I judge music after I listen to the whole track, not 30sec….take a lesson from me LOSERS:)

      • Mandi

Your just plain stupid Luke, and who the hell do YOU think you are anyways? You are no better. Luke the Loser……..yeah sounds good for a nic.

      • KrisWon

        I’m with you, Nino!

      • dharmalati

Nino.. why do you so sarcastic…? Do you think that you are smarter than Brian May or the judges at AI? Come on… be realistic..

    • Nino

Why should I go away, because I am telling the truth? He is a fraud. Like his dyed hair and make up. Plus he is ugly as sin. No REAL female would find him attractive.

      • marlock276

Nino. . . do you realize how moronic and pathetic you’re showing yourself to be? Go spread your hate somewhere else. Why are you even here on a site for someone you don’t like?

      • chris

Dear Adam fans: instead of insulting someone who says something negative about Adam, why don’t you respond with a positive Adam attribute, or at least point out where the person went wrong with their derogatory statements. Calling people names is not a proper way to defend Adam.

      • Matt

Sorry Nino the hater, my wife and daughter are REAL woman they both find him attractive, so I guess you are wrong there as well.

      • cjc

He would have more credibility if he didn’t wear the makeup and fake rocker gear. I think people bouht into the rock god thing, and are disappointed that he didn’t go that way.

      • marlock276

Just telling it like it is! And I didn’t call names; I said she/he/it was “acting” moronic, pathetc, etc., etc., etc. . . LOL

      • terie

Nino: ADAM is one of the MOST HANDSOME men on the planet as well as having an INCOMPARABLE VOICE. His album is as WONDERFUL as he is. WE his fans LOVE him dearly!!

      • JLM

Wow which kind of rocker are we stero typing today – Adam wouldn’t be like David Bowie who wore tons of make-up and nothing like Freddie Mercury and Queen who also wore make-up at times and did a lot of different styles of music. Lou Reed who did flat out tranny. Or are we talking KISS (make up anyone). Rock can be anything with certain types of guitar and today it is closer to electro. Your stereo typing indicates you are worried about your own identity. Adam will do all genres and he will do them fantastically well so brace yourself.

      • M

Nino, you’re entitled to your opinion about his looks and music, but for you to say that no REAL woman would find him attractive is just plain stupid. Are you claiming that every woman who finds him attractive is really a transsexual?! That simply doesn’t make sense.

      • dharmalati

Nino.. you are absolutely WRONG..! Are you jelaous of him ?
becoz no woman like you ?

    • WhereIsSlezak

I wonder why Slezak isn’t covering anything about Adam? It’s probably because his B@NER is for Kris and Kris only. Notice how he hasn’t posted any “exclusives” or how he never interviewed Adam from the road? Nope it was all Kris Kris Kris with the occasional Allison thrown in. I think that’s one of the reasons I hope Adam does well and Kris tanks.

      • cjc

You ever think it’s because Adam gets an overwhelming supply of publicity, and Kris doesn’t? I think Kris needs the publicity more than Adam.

      • Warren

Oh, yes. Because Adam sure doesn’t get enough publicity. You mean the fawning of every other magazine publication and media outlet over Adam is not enough for you? Leave Slezak alone.

      • Mandi

Hey Whereisslezak, Michael didn’t interview Adam on the road because Adam was on there that day, he was in studio recording his album…..

      • Mandi

        Wasn’t there……..man.

      • KrisWon

Have you ever considered that Slezak is just interviewing the WINNER? Come on BitterBerts! You guys didnt back ur man when it mattered. Deal with it. Go get airbrushed like your “Idol”

      • AdamLost

For crying out loud Slezak is just leveling the playing field. The rest of the mainstream media is treating Adam like he’s the second coming. Kris deserves some decent coverage, afterall he was the winner!

      • Ben

So what if Slezak covers the WINNER of AI8?? The winner deserves that kind of coverage!

The BitterBerts are clearly jealous of ANY attention that Kris gets from ANYBODY… It’s pathetic!

      • marlock276

Kris won American Idol. Adam won World Idol :-)

      • dharmalati

Kris won the AI is just becoz Adam is gay.. he won AI in unfair way. that’s my opinion..nothing special with Kris. he’s just an ordinary singer, not more..

  • crispy

I luuuuuuv track one. It is the glam rock awesomeness he promised us. But I can’t tell about the rest from just 30 seconds. A lot of it sounds over-produced like the FYE single.

    • Matt

Awwww Crispy you disappoint me. Alot of those songs do are no way near like the FYE single. The one that the muse guy wrote……damn forgot his name but Soaked is awesome. Broken Open and Loaded Smile are great too. I can’t believe you would say they sounded over-produced……even I can tell by 30 second snippets that most of his songs are great! Way better than FYE for sure. IMO

      • crispy

Matt, I think my biggest problem is that I expected a lot more rock, but I mostly hear studio-produced electronica on these snippets. There are only a couple of songs with guitar. But I’m keeping an open mind… can’t wait to hear the full-length songs!

      • Matt

Well Crispy thank you for that. An open mind, well that is all anyone can ask of anyone. I hope when you and myself as well get to hear the full-length songs we both are not disappointed, I don’t think I will be though, but you never know. Keeping an open mind! lol

      • Em

I’m with Crispy on this (add that to the list of sentences I hadn’t imagined myself ever contructing). I LOVE the glam – don’t get me wrong – but I do hope we get a few songs without 200 vocal tracks that seemed to be on the few songs I clicked through. He’s good enough to just sing. I hope we can hear a little of that too. I can’t wait!

      • Matt

Well Amazon UK has already tooken down the free 30 second snippets except for TFM, FYE, and a few others, none that are going to be on the album are still up there. Anywhere else are they still available?

    • djm

Yeah, it’s sort of all over the place for me too however I think when I can hear the full songs I’ll have a better idea of what they are about. I don’t hate any of them (which is a good thing), but I can’t say that I love any either (besides FYE which I fell in lov with over the weekend).

    • delaynah

oh shushhhh….you’re so whinnnnyyy…enough. go back to 18th century if you want to hear whatever is that you like…I feel sorry for people who live with you..Geez

      • Em

What? Where did this come from? Sheesh.

    • djm

I re-listened to them again last night and I think I agree with you on the “over-produced” comment. What I love about Adam is his voice – on AI it was amazing what he could do live and I think that is what I am missing with these songs. They have done WAY too much tinkering with his voice and the resluts (for me) make me feel like they are trying to hard to cover up what I think is his greatest asset as an artist – his voice. Maybe once I can hear the whole songs I’ll feel differently, but something tells me I will be longing for an “accoustic” set from him in the future.

      • crispy

One thing I noticed upon re-listens, the snippets are mostly the song choruses… which often tend to be bombastic and overproduced. Here’s hoping the verses get back to basics so we hear just his voice.

      • Jason

I think this CD seems fantastic. Maybe if you don’t try to make into what you want and just listen to it for what it is, you will enjoy it more. One thing is for sure. Over the next several albums – Adam will do a hundred different styles because he loves to surprise us and can do it all so damn well.

  • jb

All I can say is WOW. Those little clips leave me wanting more. Listening to several of them, I was transported back to the 80s (in a good way). So many artists have tried to recapture this sound and have failed and I think this is the first time I have ever felt like I could time travel just by listening to his songs. Great job and I can’t wait to hear the rest.

    • jb

I especially like “Aftermath” and “Whatta ya want from me”

      • stargazer

I agree with the traveling back in time feeling. I definately am getting his “nod” to the past.

  • Destry

Sleepwalker, Soaked, Fever, Loaded Smile, Broken Open, and Strut are my favorites.

However,Aftermath and Whataya Want From Me were a little too generic.

    • Matt

I agree with you maybe about Strut (which I hope he never works with Kara G again) but Aftermath, not generic at all. I love that song. But hey to each their own.

      • TT

I agree, Aftermath was in my top 3. I thought by the name, that Strut would be awesome but for me it’s just okay. Good beat, good vocals, nothing special; It’s my least favorite. Top 6 for me: Soaked, Sure Fire Winners, Aftermath, A Loaded Smile, Broken Open, Fever. Really like most of them.

  • Kristen

It’s completely ridiculous to judge from 30 second snippets, but so far I’m loving the majority of the album, which is a surprise. There’s some great stuff in there. The only ones I’m not feeling right now are “Aftermath” and “If I Had You.”

    • jb

I like Aftermath because it just makes me feel like a Def Leppard or Europe song. I just get that vibe and I like it. Makes me want big poodle hair.

      • Destry

LOL! And any song that does that is worth the listen

      • jb

oh, and Music Again is way cool. Sounds like Queen.

      • Destry

Oh yeah, I totally forgot about Music Again. It’s got such a classic rock vibe to it. Powerhouse of a song.

      • erin

Big poodle hair, i love it.

    • Destry

Yeah, If I Had You doesn’t do it for me either but that’s just because Techno Europop frightens me. I wonder what happened to Suburban Decay or Down the Rabbit’s Hole?

      • jb

Down the Rabbit Hole is an itunes bonus track

      • Matt

What about Suburban Decay? I wanted to hear that one. Maybe for his second album?

      • katey

I really think Adam has enough material for at least another album or two! I think much of this first album was picked as a marketing approach. It will give him more time to work on the many other great tracks that so many great writers/producers have contributed!

  • marissa

    “prance-prance-revolution”–I think I love you.

And that song–I have to say, I’m extremely happy with these clips! I was so nervous about the AI blandizing machine, but this music sounds overall (apart from one or two songs) both good and interesting. Can’t wait to hear the rest of it.

Here’s hoping Adam, Kris, and Allison all do well.

  • momma bear

All I can say is WOW! This album is gonna be amazing. Love what I have heard so far

  • Nick T

“Strut!” and “Fever” just cuz Gaga wrote it (It sounds good though).

    • Wanda

Strut was written by america’s favorite idol judge (sarcasm alert)…kara. not lady gaga.

      • talkin’

believe he was only referring to Fever

      • Frank Anderson

Strut is a ton better than I expected from the ‘Kara’ song… I was worried she would try to force him to do another ‘No Boundaries.’ That song was soooo bad. Recorded version was a bit more bearable, but not much. It had cornballs galore.

BTW- Anyone liking these tracks should check out the band ‘Head Automatica.’ Some of these Lambert tracks remind me of them.

      • Jason

        Adam co-wrote Strut.

  • Jackson

I’m not loving any of these tracks, but as someone else stated, it’s difficult to judge just from 30 second snippets. I may change my mind after hearing the full version of all the songs.

  • Murderpuss

    Oh dear. This is horrendous.

    • Horrendous???

If you don’t like it feel free to listen to another artist. We don’t mind one bit!

    • Leslie

I agree. Sorry folks, this is terrible. Maybe after actually listening to the entire cd when it comes out I may change my mind, but as it stands now, I’m not expecting much.

      • Matt

I disagree with you but then the world would be boring if we all agreed. But to say this album is terrible baffles me…..

      • lacey

I only like a couple of the ballads but don’t like the rest of it. I really don’t care for the electronic sound. Just my opinion.

    • KrisWon

It’s so awful that I don’t even know that I’d consider buying it as a coaster out of Wal-mart’s $1.99 bin.

    • AdamLost

Oh my, the cover alone just made me by another copy of Kris Allen’s CD!

      • Bia

I’m a big fan of For Your Entertainment but some of this album sounds slightly over-produced. I’m really liking “Soaked” though. I love Muse and I think Adam’s voice really fits the song. I just wish the rest of the album was a little bit less electro-popish and more of the stuff Adam did on American Idol. Still looking forward to it, though! Adam had a bright future ahead of him and I wish him nothing but the best.

  • Starr

Without knowing which track is the one penned by Justin Hawkins of The Darkness, I could easily pinpoint “Music Again” as the one. It definitely has the same feel as the Darkness’ stuff. I thought “Strut” sounded pretty decent, but “Broken Open” sounds like a winner. I was disappointed by how “Fever” turned out. I listened to the demo that Lady Gaga put out and it sounded so amazing and made me excited for the song on Adam’s album, but it didn’t turn out well, IMO. The entire album is not my thing, so I might just purchase the individual songs I like. But of course, it’s definitely too early to tell, especially from snippets. So far, it’s just “Broken Open” that appeals to me.

    • crispy

Agreed about “Music Again” … Lambert’s crazy vocals and Justin Hawkins’ crazy lyrics are a perfect match. I kinda wish they did the entire album together. But I guess he needed some variety.

      • Matt

I will agree with you on that. I would have loved him doing alot with Justin and The Muse guy. Hell what is his name?

      • Starr

        Haha It’s Matthew Bellamy.

      • Matt

Thanks Starr. I don’t know why I don’t know that, I love that group The Muse, you think I would know the name, but hell its like when you know something, but for some reason you get a brainfart? I know most of YOU know what I am talking about! ;)

      • Bev

The band is called Muse, not The Muse. There is no ‘The’ in the band’s name

      • Matt

Thanks for that Bev, but like who cares?

  • vinylrage

Love it all. I really do. :)

  • Brit

I’d rather hear P!nk sing Whataya Want From Me instead of giving it to him.

  • Tim

Sounds good. A nice mix of newer pop/rock and classic rock sound. I really love the debut single “For Your Entertainment”.

  • Cathy

    GOOD, EXCELLENT, ADAM1 CONGRATULATIONS

  • Bobby

You might as well take some knives and shove them in your ears and save yourself the ten bucks for his CD.

    • Matt

Bobby that was alittle harsh. But then you probably didn’t like Adam from the getgo, am I right?

      • Bobby

He has a good voice, now if he could do a song without that high pitch scream.Every song he does it and it gets real annoying.

      • Matt

Ok I hear ya. The ladies love that “scream”, well my two ladies do. Just going from that.

    • TT

Did you listen to the preview for “Soaked” or some of the ballads? No screams.

      • Mandi

Bobby wouldn’t dare do that, then he would be wrong TT. Soaked is an awesome tune and I love it! Besides I wish people would stop calling it screaming, what Gokey did on Dream On was screaming, Adam’s voice is what Octave 4? That is not screaming. But some of these people wouldn’t know that.

      • TT

Wow, I just realized there are two of us TTs. Good thing we both like Soaked…and Adam. If one of us were making hateful comments, we’d have people scratching their heads.

      • marlock276

OMG, that rock wail hooked me from the start. . . it reminded me of Ted Neeley in Jesus Christ Superstar, my favorite musical, and as it turns out, Adam’s too. LOVE it!

  • dave

A little bit hard to judge just from 30 second snippets. However, as I predicted, nothing here sounds particularly groundbreaking (sorry hard-core fans). But that doesn’t mean it’s not entertaining and still good music.
The tracks that stood out to me the most were “Music Again” (even if Leah didn’t reveal that this was The Darkness collaboration song, I still would have figured it was!), “A Loaded Smile,” “Broken Open,” “Sleepwalker,” and “Strut.” Those were the ones that left me wanting more. I thought I would have included “Soaked” because it’s a Muse song, but I think the song is more suited to Matt Bellamy’s voice. But it was still alright and I’ll reserve final judgment once I hear the song in it’s entirety.
A few songs, however, weren’t quite to my liking: “Sure Fire Winners,” “Aftermath,” and “Fever,” all of which I just wasn’t feeling. And “If I Had You” sounded pretty terrible. It sounds like a leftover Backstreet Boys song circa 2000.
Well, some good (even great) songs, some average songs, and a couple not-so-good songs. Basically what I expected. Definitely looking forward to hearing the songs in their entirety. Seems to me like it will be a pretty decent debut album.

    • jenny

You’re completely right about If i Had You. Awful song.
There’s a few other songs I don’t like either so I’m probably just going to buy the handful of songs that I do like. Sleepwalker is my favorite as of right now. I’ll probably buy that one, along with a few others.

    • Jason

Dave like fans care what you say. Don’t have to apologize, you are just another joe with an opinion. It won’t make you thoughts a reality and won’t change the minds of those that love it.

      • dave

Jason, when did I say I was trying to change anyone’s mind about the songs? I was giving my opinion, I’m allowed to. That’s what this article asked for. And I am a fan. Your comment was essentially pointless.

  • Carly

Loved the new single so listened to the snippets. Have to say I think I will like every song on the album. Especially loved Sure Fire Winners, Strut and Sleepwalker. Sure are some powerful folks involved in putting this together and looks like it was worthwhile.

  • James S.

Interesting. A few tracks sound like good, old fashioned classic rock throwbacks; others seem like over-produced pop crap. I’ll reserve my judgement until I hear the full album, but the clips are making me a little nervous.

    • Matt

Why does it make you alittle nervous? That album rocks!

    • TT

It’s hard to comments on song production with only 30 second snippets, but can you really over-produce a dance track?

  • HD

I love 85% of what I heard and what I didn’t love, well Amazon is notorious for posting the most unexciting parts of songs as the “snippet” which doesn’t represent the full awesomeness of the material. But I am totally geeked for this. Go Adam!

    • terie

WOW!! If these are the unexciting parts on the snippets can you imagine what the WHOLE song will sound like?? WOW!!!

  • pollywood

I absolutely loved these snippets and can hardly wait to get my cd. Adam is an amazing live entertainer too (saw him in the AI Live show) so I can only imagine what the live FYE tour will be like when he can really let loose.

  • Kisha

There are actually 14 tracks on the cd not 19. I like Music Again and Aftermath most of the samples .

  • Thad

Totally proves why he didn’t win last season. How do you market this freak show? The snippets are not that good. A couple of interesting tracks but its not sounding like a hit.

    • Mandi

I think you are wrong Thad. But that is ok, everyone has the right to their opinion. If you consider him a freak, I just wonder why you bothered to come on here to talk about that freak? I don’t mind others having an honest opinion but if from the start you know you don’t like an artist, why bother to go to a site about them? Unless you are one of the “trolls” that like to troll just for the purpose of saying negative things. If YOU are one of “those” then GTFO!

      • Matt

Wow Mandi that was alittle harsh from you. Thad did say a couple of interesting tracks so maybe Thad’s mind will be changed when the full length versions are heard. You never know.

      • Turner

matt, I highly doubt that anyone that considers someone a ‘freak show’ will change their mind about them for the positive. Chances are, this clown named Thad will continue to dislike Adam for being gay, outspoken, unafraid, eclectic and unpredictable — all great qualities that I’m sure Thad lacks.

      • Mandi

I agree with you Turner. Matt I wasn’t harsh at all. I lay it out like I feel, about what everyone else seems to be doing. Well some. Some are just “trolls” looking for something to start.

      • cjc

Freak shows are interesting. Freak shows are unique. We all love a good freak show from time to time. It can be negative or positive, but always interesting and intriquing. Don’t be so defensive about people who have their own opinions. I’d hate to think that we all had the same opinion on something. These posts are not just for people who love a particular thing, it’s to post comments, both positive and negative.

      • marlock276

Someone earlier said don’t call names. . . so don’t call Adam a freak, don’t call Thad a clown (hard to do, isn’t it?). . . and Mandi, your post ROCKS! :-)

      • Matt

Thanks Marlock……..some of your post rock as well! :)

      • Matt

Oh you meant the other M, as in Mandi……….sorry……….LOL Well I am sure she thinks you rock too so its all good…….dang where are my glasses……..lol

      • JLM

I agree with Mandy, why go on a site about someone you don’t like just to call them a freak and say for the most part you don’t like their music. Just is really odd. I don’t go onto sites of people I don’t like and I wouldn’t be ‘in your face’ and call them a name if I did. Oh well…just saying

      • marlock276

Your posts rock too Matt! lol

    • @ Thad

Best to ignore people like Thad. They get happy when we reply to them!! LOL!! I love all the snipppets, can’t wait for 23 November!!!!

    • cjc

All it takes is a couple of good singles to make a hit.

  • Kevin

He has an AMAZING voice so WHY are they ruining it by using pitch altering software??? It’s a very, very bad decision.

Just curious? Do you know for a fact that autotune is being used? People trot out this notion a lot these days without really knowing if it is the case. Adam has perfect pitch so if it is used, it is likely simply a production technique.

      • Kevin

Yes, it is a fact. I heard the Cher-type distortion in the VERY first song. I did not mean to imply that they were using it on every song or even to keep him on pitch. He is an amazing singer. They are using it for a “cool” effect, but it’s tamping down the unique tonal qualities of his voice. Why can’t they just let him shine?

    • cjc

because his voice is not as amazing as you think it is.

      • Matt

Sure it is cjc, he proved that on Idol.

      • marlock276

Stop the kidding cjc! We know the truth! :-)

      • Kevin

No. It really is amazing. Not Freddy Mercury amazing but…

      • terie

Is that why he is ranked #2 of the 100 most technically skilled rock vocalists WORLDWIDE? A panel of experts said so after much deliberation. Kinda proves that his voice IS “AMAZING”!!! JMO

      • Jenn

How can anyone listen to even a snippet of Soaked and Broken Open and not see that his voice is amazing?? There are so few in the world that have Adam’s range, clear ennunciation, artticulate pitch!! He can sing pretty much anything. Whether you like him or not, the guy has phenomenal pipes!!

      • Rocky

cjc, please YouTube “Adam Lambert Brigadoon”. Then let me know if you still do not think his voice is amazing.

  • Scott

I had a feeling much of it would sound a lot like Chris Cornell’s widely hated “Scream” album. And I think it does, for better or worse.

    • Colleen

Fever sounds like Chris Cornell? Broken opens sounds like Chris Cornell? What? Don’t get it.

  • Maia

    I’m digging “Sleepwalker” a lot… it sounds like a very unusual and eclectic mix… I think I like. It’s a bold move for a post-idol first cd.

    • dave

Yea Sleepwalker is one of my favorites too. Seems to be a really cool song.

      • Mandi

It is a cool song and I can’t stop listening to it!

  • Muse fan

    Alright…I only checked out “Soaked”,and I’m impressed!

    • Matt

I think alot of people love that song. Too bad there isn’t more of that on there. I like the album, but loved Soak so much wanted more of that too.

    • dave

I was excited to hear that song because I’m a Muse fan as well, but from what I heard in the snippet, I like Muse’s version better. But I’m still interested in hearing the song as a whole before I make up my mind.

      • Jenn

I love Muse, but liked the richness of Adam’s voice as he goes into the “And you had enough…” Wow right there it was obvious to me Adam took it to a level Matt Bellamy just can’t.

      • dave

I hear what you’re saying Jenn. But from the snippet, I just got the impression that the song seemed better suited to Matt Bellamy’s voice. Just my opinion. But I’m definitely going to give the song a full listen when the album is released because I honestly do want to like that song.

  • Tsai

Good singer.not my cup of tea this time.still a fan.hope next time will be something different.

    • dharmalati

Tsai, maybe you have to listen to the songs twice or maybe 5 times. I’m sure you will like it.

  • Smash

Music Again, Soaked and the River Cuomo ones are my faves so far — can’t wait!

    • Matt

River Cuomo? Where do you see that one? I didn’t see that one.

      • Andrea

The River Cuomo song is called “Pick U Up.” He is listed as one of the songwriters for that one.

      • Matt

Ok thanks. I didn’t know. I guess I should “read up” on stuff like that, so next time I won’t seem so “ignorant”. lol Thanks Andrea for clearing that up.

  • LT

LOVE Soaked, Fever,FYE, Music Again, Strut, and every single one of the ballads except for Whataya Want From Me. Not big on If I Had You. The rest I am waiting to hear full versions. I cannot believe how excited for this album I am. I have been listening to the snippets all day.
