Diva twin powers, activate! Form of… remix. You knew it was coming, dear readers. And now the collaboration between Lady Gaga and Beyonce has arrived.
It’s not a massive twist on Sasha Fierce’s original “Video Phone”; mostly just the Lady throwing down an extra verse to justify her video appearance. In other words, time to get leotarded, Gagoncé (Beyogga?). Listen below:

uh. this song is ridiculous. LOVE GAGA but this song? meh. why didn’t they remix something fun like FREAKUM DRESS? how cool would that video be? too bad.
For all you clueless peons out there…Lady Gaga appearing on this song will be her first Urban/hip-hop charting hit, hence opening her up to a new audience that has otherwise escaped her, thus expanding her range outside of the dance/pop/gay world. This remix is very important in the overall scheme of things. If this works out for Beyonce & Gaga, then this pairing benefits both. Remmeber when B dueted with Shakira for her first Latin hit? Same idea here, and with B coming off her biggest pure dance hit, like ever with “Sweet Dreams” (NOT an Urban hit…yet..they may release some remix with a rapper…) this will be nice a follow-up for Top 40 radio. My only problem is that I fear that with the re-issue of the album with this track in 2 weeks, and her Live dvd, and the concert from Vegas on ABC Thanksgiving night…I say it every year, she just needs to like go away for an entire year. No new songs, movies…but I fear her label is going to try and release every song off “I Am…Sasha Fierce” as single/videos, to like break some ridiculous records. Her sister’s last album was actually really retro-awesome, and it got completed overshadowed by B’s long shadow.
No review of the other Gaga/Beyonce collaboration, “Telephone”?? It leaked yesterday and it is fantastic!!!
“Telephone” is the Beyonce/Gaga collaboration for “The Fame Monster” re issue. Instea dof putting the “Video Phone” remix on both re releases, they collabrated on a new track for Gaga’s re issue. No word yet on whether “Telephone” will be a single…I guess it depends on how well this “Video Phone” Remix does…
One of Gaga’s fansites is reporting that it will be the 2nd single. I hope so, because it has hit written all over it! I can’t stop listening!

No mention of Telephone? They say there will be a video and its actually a new song. Not one I’m in love with, but I’ll take Beyonce anywhere I can get her.

telephone is way better than this…but this will definitely help gaga out in strictly urban r&b markets. She does ok w/ the top 40 r&b lite sort of but this is straight up hip hop. Good for them! Of course, Beyonce needs no help in the pop/dance/gay world from gaga, she’s already a HUGE dance hit maker and gay icon!
let me just say…for all of us lol…that this collab is a gay man’s dream come true!!!
