Twilight, like Beatlemania????? Wow! Not even close. Not even a little bit. You reveal your apparent youth and naivete when you pose a question like that. Next time do some research on Beatlemania, (youtube could probable be an asset), before you pose an inane question like this.
I love Robert Pattinson but I love the beatles more and he shouldnt compare the beatles with himself.
He hasnt done anything that reaches to the height of the beatles.

Everyone has crazy fans-New Kids on The Block…I’m sorry, I was forced to watch the first movie by my sister(she’s not a tween), she just liked the books….horrible acting, bad graphics and boring.I like Vampires,Aliens,X-Files stuff, Twilight purely stunk.TRUE BLOOD IS THE BEST.I got my sister hooked on that(obsessed).She’s in her Twenties.

I’m a 19 year old girl and I swoon over both of them I’d take Beatlemania over Robmania of course but whats so wrong with his comparison? Its not like he compared HIMSELF to the fabs he just compared the popularity, screaming girls etc.
First in one artice Rob says he’s like a docter and now this article he says he’s like the Beatles. Oh lord what will be next. He saying that he’s God? Give me a break! I’m going to be glad when this Twilight crap is over and done in another two years!
i would really have to disagree with this, as there are too many comparisons that dont add up! To start with there is a large group of middle aged women also obsessed with the whole twilight franchise, not just the tweens/teens. Twilight and the beatles were also marketed in much different ways from each other, with twilight already having a built in fan base from the first 3 books (that goes across several generations). The beatles had all their crazy fans even though they were heavily criticized by an older generation.
Above all the beatles were REVOLUTIONARY while the twilight crap is just another author taking advantage of peoples curiosity and imagination for vampires (nothing new there)!
wow, people really take things out of control. he was just comparing the crazy in love screaming people…i’m sure the teenage girls especially. he wasn’t comparing twilight to the beatles.
