I’m genetically programmed to like things that are awesome, which thereby means I’m crazy about America Idol‘s husky-voiced season 8 competitor Allison ‘The Rocker’ Iraheta Read the full post.
Our little Rocker is on her way. Bon Voyage to the most raw talent AI has ever seen. Simon just couldn’t figure it out, but most of us did.
For those of you expecting her to release her career masterpiece out of the gates—get real, she has to start off in the pop-ish realm to gain momentum with the masses. When she can get into her own groove, look out here comes the Quenn of Rock.
Beside ripping off a-ha if i can get over that… i liked the video… i like the 80s look and she looked awesome in the video. love her style. also like there was some girls in her band and she wasnt backed by all guys like most female solo artists are. i have more problem with the song than the video… she is a rocker supposed to be singing rock music. this is more euro pop dance music. But I guess u need something to grab the masses then u can put out what u want. And I hope in this case its songs that are rock not euro pop dance like this single.
I love Allison’s latest single. I love the song and I think she sings it really well. The music video is very colorful . It’s an amazing music video. Whenever I listen to the song, I feel like singing along with it. When I first saw the music video, I thought it was perfect just the way it was. I thought that it matched the song well. I also think that the music video shows who Allison is as a music artist. I think that the other songs on her album will be great too.
If it were not for all of her great clothes and accessories in this video I would have gotten bored much sooner than I did. Her hair and makeup look great too. I loved the original A-ha video. Agree with Slezak on the video. As far as the song, it is a disappointment in that it is so soft, but I will say it has a hook that has stuck in my head, so I can see it making its way up the charts. Hope for her sake that it does.
I loved Allison on Idol..but I am still not crazy about this song. I am hoping someone makes a wicked dance remix eventually. I am happy they did not make her into a teen hoochie like so many of the other young female stars of today. Hope that trend continues.
I love the song for her; video is ok. Why don’t people just let her be her: a 17 year old teenager with a really great voice? Critical of her braces??? Sorry, that is just sad. She is as cute and bubbly as they come and she has a great great voice. She has a great future ahead of her; the whiners need to leave her alone and let Allison be Allison.

OMG, I love the video. It’s cute. I like the song and The rest of her album is amazing. Thanks for helping Alli.
The Video is so cute. I also like the Single and the album.
It will delight the demographic she is aiming for – if it does not get lost with all the faux techno pop already out there.
And Lose the gad awful hair – is wrong to be hating on that none style?
Love the Rocker! The vid is all kinds of cute! Love the ’80s (even though I was born in ’88).

Pop, yes. Euro pop, I don’t think so.
