I loved Janet’s performance. It was on point and nostalgic… You go girl!!!
This show sucks! Listen, I love aimless pop music as much as the next guy, but there are some artists I just want to hear and others I want to see perform-you know, the ones that actually PERFORM! If you don’t play an instrument, you better SING your ass off. If you’re not a good singer, you better DANCE your ass off. And I don’t mean some simple choreography or trying to use your “sexiness” as a crutch. Janet=BORING! Shakira=Sexy (for a minute) but BORING! Daughtry? By the books, but at least they sounded decent. This show is off to a bad start and I have a feeling that only Lady Gaga can save it from performance mediocrity.
Oh yeah, one more thing. I would prefer a singer who messes up a little but actually sings than someone who lip-syncs (yeah, I’m talking to you Janet!)

The problem with awards shows is that few people win awards. It’s really an entertainment variety show….another way for artists to be seen and promote their CDs…is it any wonder that everyone performing has a NEW CD coming out in the next two weeks?

kelly is my girl. her voice is so rich and full. hating those shoulder bedazzles, but there is no denying her talent.
