Adam Lambert performance on 'Good Morning America' canceled; will appear on CBS 'Early Show' instead

I hope all you readers out there will take a moment and take in the wisdom I am about to share with you. I probably don’t “fit” into the images of today’s music, I come from the 50′s …when music really was music. Do any of you out there remember how they ostracized Elvis when he first hit the music industry??? The world found his “hip gyrations” VULGAR and on some programs, like the Ed Sullivan show, would not show him from the waist down!!! BUT, in doing that, they were missing what REALLY MATTERED…HIS INCREDIBLE, PHENOMENAL AND FLAWLESS VOICE!!!! I am not saying what Adam did was right or wrong, but have any of you watched Rap Artists lately??? Why is it ok for them to use profanity as they “sing” about abusing drugs and women all the while they are grabbing their crotch!!!!! Most of the music out there today is nothing but noise. You can’t understand a word they are saying and the songs have no SOUL!!! Adam has a GOD given voice that, when I first heard it, I was awe-struck….OH MY GOD…the range and purity of his voice can only be compared with someone like Luciano Pavaratti, it actually takes ones breath away!!!!! WHY ARE SO MANY OF YOU NOT LISTENING??? Forget about “his actions” for God’s sake….STOP AND LISTEN!!! It isn’t many singers that can take a song, written and performed by one of our greats from the past, put his own “twist” on it and when sung to the original performer, brings him to tears and receives a STANDING OVATION!!!!!! ADAM DID!!! And do you know why??? Because everyone was LISTENING to the immense talent Adam has offered to ALL OF US!!!! All you “nay sayers” out there….CLOSE YOUR EYES AND LISTEN!!!! You just might like what you hear. Adam, you are to be one of our “Greats” don’t ever stop, you sing with your heart and soul, because this person from Minnesota is behind you ALL THE WAY AND ALWAYS WILL BE!!!! Sing on, Adam!!
