I absolutely loved the concert, but when i seen Simon and Garfunkel come up on stage and gave each other that look i completely flipped. these guys are a perfect duo.
Im sorry for such a late reply. Hehe.
I didnt have the chance to go, but before watching that concert I didnt think I liked U2… boy was I wrong. I think they were the best there. Bonos voice sounded incredible and as for his comment.. it was a joke to Mick Jagger. Go you guys, everytime that man opens his mouth your ready to make him seem like a bad guy. I thought it was great. The whole show was great. Fergie.. wtf!? I didnt know she had a voice like that???
I just saw this show this weekend on HBO. It was awesome to say the least. Can anyone provide a complete set list? I saw one on another post but it was not complete. I was particularly interested in knowing some songs that Metallica and Ozzy performed. Also, anyone know if this is on DVD? Thanks!
The most chilling moment for me (out of several) was Jeff Beck’s “a Day in the Life” with the female bass player. They were AWESOME!…can’t stand BEPs or fergie, but she did well…I know I loose my black card, but I have NEVER been a fan of Aretha Franklin and I fast-forward her section every time I watch the concert.
Bono can go away. For all you people that think he is such a great humanitarian great. But he is full of himself, his music has been showing that for the last 25 years. Might shock you, but the world is getting rightfully sick of this guy.
Fergie is darling
Mick…well, Mick’s Mick, I’d have
expected nothing less.
I have a whole new respect for Metallica. Although never into that genre, I found them so
appreciative and gracious.
Stevie almost broke my heart.
Simon & Garfunkel haven’t changed
one iota….beautiful.
