very disappointing…avril lavigne? it looks like a soundtrack for “gossip girl,” not a film by tim burton. makes me afraid its another failure like his “planet of the apes.” could this be some sort of joke?

Agreed. Avril Lavigne? Seriously, of all the talented musicians out there he chooses someone like her? Uck.

    uh danny elfman scoring?

    • crispy

I was wondering that myself. It’s probably one of those dealios where they do a score and a soundtrack.

It excites me for the most part. Minus Avril Lavigne, Tokio Hotel, Shinedown, and 3OH!3, I can’t wait to hear it. The Mark Hoppus and Pete Wentz collaboration has me most excited.

Super psyched when I saw Robert Smith listed. Not sure about the rest. Have to wait and give it all a listen. Although, I’m kind of nervous about Owl City — all of their songs sound the same.

FRANZ FERDINAND!! I cannot wait for this movie to come out!! Glad they are getting some serious recognition!

I am very excited to hear Avril’s new track.

So excited for the movie and the soundtrack. A new track from Tokio Hotel and Kerli? Epic!

  • KR

    Avril Levine? Blech!

  • Wil

Yuck…this sounds like a train wreck…I can handle Franz Ferdinand or Wolfmother, but the rest is garbage…this is starting to look like a Twilight soundtrack. :/

very curious indeed. I mean, half this soundtrack I’m gonna never want to listen to. Avril Lavigne is pushing my “guilty pleasures” tastes, but American Rejects, Owl City, 3Oh3!? , i could vomit.
however, Franz, Robert Smith, & Kerli could definately makeup for it. so estatic about this movie!!

  • Kar

I’m really excited to hear the new song by Avril, it is the only one I care about.
