i hate twilight and i love vampire weekend. they’re named after a short film they’d created before they formed. and what i want to know is why the hell radiohead and twilight are in the same sentence?
okay never mind i figured it out. apparantely the song 15 step was played during the credits but luckily for us radiohead fans it was not included in the soundtrack. thank god
Must thank my friend for introducing me to this band in ’08 w/ Walcott & Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa…They are the soundtrack to my university years, it just keeps me upbeat to continue writing my 10 page essays.
They have NOTHING to do with Twilight or the soundtracks. Twilight Saga music is of indie bands but the music picked is usually mellow and moody . VW is really light and very ecclectic. I love the Twilight Saga, but even I think that VW should not be part of any Twilights’ soundtrack. Some idiots don’t know at all what VW and judge them because of their name.
I think I sang throughout “I Love You, Man” the movie and trailer, when A-Punk and other songs came out. After that, I got my friends hooked on the band too
You seem ready to dismiss Susan Boyle and at the same time be biased for Ke$h*t when in fact Susan Boyle stayed in 2nd place while the Lady Gaga of 2010 dropped to 3rd!! Shame on you Simon!! Tee-hee!

Vampire Weekend preceded the whole twilight phenomenon but of course you have the idiots that think they’re milking the money cow that is the vampire craze. Anyway, the new album is really great and I’m listening to it nonstop and I’m glad to see this album getting the attention it deserves. Contra, Spoon’s new album, and the Surfer Blood album are getting this year off to a great start in terms of music.
