    James I agree with you! When Jennifer quits trying to sound so twangy country and sings over anyone she duets with she has a beautiful voice.

    I’ll have to disagree with the Nettles haters. She has an incredible range and control with her voice; she has the ability to belt it out and sing loud and proud on songs that require it, like the rocking performances with Bon Jovi. And I don’t think she just stayed on the stage to steal Bon Jovi’s thunder during the last song, I have a feeling it was rehearsed and that they actually wanted her to be there. Their collaborations are a mutual deal. But she also has an incredible subtlety in performances like that with Ben Harper during the Kennedy Center Honors for Bruce Springsteen, and also with John Legend and James Taylor for the Inaugural Celebration. Try checking out some of the other things that she has done and considering the context of the performances before being so quick to judge.

      Shut up. Being so quick to judge? Like I haven’t heard her atrocious caterwauling before? She’s God awful, and only in country music can someone butcher music so badly and still be considered great. If you were to reprint lyrics as she sings them, the line for her one song would be written “Sew whaaa doan’d yoa staaaa.”

    I’ve been listening to Jennifer Nettles since 2004, and she is the best female singer today.

    i listen to a little country and a whole lotta rock and roll, and i must say Bon Jovi rocked..no suprize there, Jennifer on the other hand tries waaaay to hard…sorry but found her quite annoying… next time Bon Jovi needs to leave the side show at home
