The last thing I want to do is ruin another awards ceremony for Taylor Swift. Read the full post.

WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT FROM TAYLOR! Man, how off pitch can you get. If that wasn’t an ear piece malfunction then take back the Grammy’s!

    • DD

Taylor should give the Grammy win to Gaga or Beyonce – now these 2 ladies can sing!!! Taylor CANNOT sing live and that’s a fact!!! Yeah, she’s cute but that’s about all!

What else is new. Taylor was god awful. And the fact she is winning so many Grammy’s makes it just as much a travestry. And really; she has been awful before but usually was tolerable. But tonight; she was plain bad. VERY BAD! Horrific. And adding Stevie Nicks made it worse. They should have had Carrie Underwood do a solo song as well as the MJ tribute. The fact the MJ tribute was next and Carrie blew Taylor away…such a travesty. But it’s well known that Taylor sucks as a singer and yet everyone still gives her unwarranted awards…

taylor can’t do covers but she does her own songs really well

fairytale is just a bad song (and im a swift fan) but you belong with me was interesting arrangement.

personally, i rarely like female-female or male-male duets. sometimes they work but often the voices clash. i think she should’ve duetted with a guy.

I’m having a hard time believing that people still think Taylor Swift WRITES good music … sorry, “I wore a dress, you wore a gray t shirt” is hardly AWARD worthy. She’s very charming, to be sure, but let her win Billboard awards, not Grammys.

Taylor, plain and simple, cannot sing live. There have been just too many performances with the same outcome for this to just be an “off” night. If Stevie was off on any notes, I’m sure it was due to her attempting to harmonize with a partner who was musically all over the place. Taylor, please stick to your strenghs and stay away from the microphone!

Taylor Swift BUTCHERED that great song!!! She cannot sing!

Taylor’s vocals on “You Belong With Me” sounded really good, but on the other songs she wasn’t that great. And I’m really tired of everybody picking on her for her vocals – if you don’t like it, just don’t listen to it. You don’t have to complain about everything you don’t like all the time.

What? You Belong with Me sounded AWFUL! Horrible! What performance were you listening to?

Her vocals sucked, and I am sure I speak for most when I say we weren’t watching to see Taylor sing. She came on and ruined our Grammy show. At some point, since she is 20 and no longer in high school, she is going to have to sing to a more adult audience and I personally don’t think she will make it.

Abby, sorry but this is the Grammy’s?!? It’s not a high school talent audition. It’s supposed to represent the best of the best in the industry for the year!! People have every right to express their opinion. Stevie Nicks, Beyonce, Dave Mathews Band, Green Day, Carrie Underwood, Celine Dion, etc. These are high caliber performers that can perform well live. Taylor looked like an immature, awkward, amateur whose talent is limited to a studio recording booth and a good recording engineer.

That was AWFUL! Taylor was soooooo out of tune! Yes, she improved slightly on her own song (at least) but it was still terrible! The magic of the recording studio. She may write pretty songs and is a pretty girl, but she should stick to working as a songwriter. She is 20 now, so I hope she starts doing something a bit more interesting. The Today was a Fairytale song is not very good, she’s written better. Gosh, I felt so bad for Stevie!

  • analiesejoy

    love taytay.
    but that was so bad.

  • javi

it was out of everything why this girl won a grammy it’s beyond me she sucked in that performance i love stevie nicks but this performance suck hard.

  • Beth

The Grammys of recent years love to put together an established pro and a newbie. I’m always glad to see Stevie on the Grammys (at least she got to perform whereas Alice Cooper is relegated to presenting) but I would have rather seen her paired with anyone else. Taylor seems like a nice girl and I’ll give her chops for writing her own songs unlike some pop princesses but I don’t know if she’ll last like Stevie has.

    • Stewart

Stevie has lasted for 35 years for a reason: TALENT.
Taylor Swift will be gone in five years, max.

      • DIna

        Won’t take that long.

      • omg

Amen!! Stevie is a pro with TONS of talent!! That’s why people continue to go to her shows. She has her own unique magic and “it” factor and is still captivating after all this time. Hopefully Taylor learns something from her.

  • BA

Taylor was TOTALLY out of tune. Too bad. I love Stevie Nicks. It could have been something really awesome.

  • mrgrk

Not to pile on Taylor, but whoever thought this was a good idea screwed up big time. Of COURSE it would highlight the major limitations of Taylor’s voice…she did wear a killer dress on the red carpet tho!

  • miccau

I like Taylor, but her voice was lacking next to Stevie’s. She should have gone solo.

  • kerry Smith

Those two ladies were a sad combo, Miss Swift was out of her league.
