During the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, EW.com wanted to find out what music is inspiring U.S. athletes. With the men’s hockey team facing off against Canada tonight (MSNBC, 7 p.m. ET pre-show, 7:40 p.m. puck drop), it seemed like a good time to check in with Chicago Blackhawks forward Patrick Kane, who tells us he listens to five songs before every game:
1. “Hot in Herre” by Nelly: “I like the way this song gives you energy. It’s a classic.”
2. “Tarzan Boy” by Baltimora: “It’s all in the beat.”
3. “Bed Rock” by Young Money: “I like the diversity of the song, so many different singers.”
4. “Sing for the Moment” by Eminem: “This song makes you take every moment and make the most of it.”
5. “Fluxland” by XL: “Great techno tune. It really pumps you up. It’s got good vibes.”

US has no chance against Canada:)
I really want Canada to win, A LOT. But do we put too much pressure on our Hockey players? It’s like they have to be the best on the planet or they set off a national crisis. It’s like we have to win gold in Seniors Mens, Junior Mens, & Womens Worlds and the Both Olympic Medals. One silver (even if even other one is gold) and Don Cherry and all sports commentators freaks out and question the state of Hockey in Canada it’s really silly.
Ironically, thats the same playlist he uses before he beats up cab drivers.
Hahaha. I was just going to ask, isn’t this the idiot who punched a cab driver because he didn’t have the right amount of change. Moron.
