There are actually teachers who teach the rock scream. It is ON PITCH, as Adam so superbly demonstrates. If you want an example of real screeching, aka the wayward primal yell, please revisit Danny Gokey’s version of “Dream On” (“Scream On”) from last year’s AI Rock Week — where, incidentally, Adam killed it with “Whole Lotta Love.”
Adam’s voice is awesome, and he is truly an entertainer.
After last year’s IDOL competition with Adam, this year, seems so BLAND
have you people heard adam lambert singing before AI, like adam versions of come home (one republic), brigadoon (musical show), is anybody listening (10 commandments) and I just love you? really really amazing, i never get tired of listening to them at youtube. do me a favor, please start googling about adam’s past musical talent and you’ll see.
ADAM’s covers of I Just Love You .. Come Home .. I Can’t Make You Love Me .. As Long As Your Mine (Wicked) .. Come to Me Bend to Me (Brigadoon) & The Prayer .. on Ytube are pure & Flawless. Give these a listen … they are all pre-Idol .. must be heard to appreciate the VOCAL BRILLIANCE of this young TALENTED & GIFTED singer/entertainer. I don’t think even ADAM realizes just how GOOD he is!
I fell in love with Adam’s voice – and manner of performance – waaayyy early in his Idol appearance. All I can say is WOW all over again. Gotta love the purity of his voice in unplugged and he ‘makes me want to listen to the music again’!!
For me there has not been a better voice& range in recent memory. When Adam sings I get goose bumps,this only happens when someone is extraordinary.I knew it early on, tracks of my tears & mad world.I believe Adam will be a mega star. provided he makes the right decisions as it relates to song and career choices. I bought his debut album and loved most of it.I was however shocked with the ama preformance, and maybe that was the intent. they gave him the last spot to showcase his talent and I thought some of the things done were fine for a concert but not for a general audiance I believe Adam has to be careful as to whom he takes advice advice from. Being gay is not an issue for me, but it does not need to define you.Chris Allen won idol do to the Kayane song and improving weekly, unfortunally Adam just peaked too early.WE shall see whose career is more successfol 5 yrs from now.
No one can doubt the vocal ability of Adam Lambert! BTW I loved Down The Rabbit Hole!! so good!!
Adam is so talented he is going to be one of the vocalist we will talk about when you think of music in the future. Adam does not think he is a good singer in his opinion he says there are so many more talented singers then him. I would like to hear him name off who he thinks can sing better then him.
Anyone who thinks Lambert’s “autotuned” should listen to the impromptu version of WWFM he sang for those two beautiful girls in Sweden. Vocal perfection on the spot. Cute interview, too.
