Man, for a $500 fine, Erykah Badu got hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of publicity for her new album.
I’d say she’s a pretty damned savvy business woman who knew the risks associated with disrobing in a public place, and chose to do it anyway.
Yeah she got ticketed so of course I am going to buy all her albums!!!!!!!! I don’t even know who she is or why everyone is talking about her.

At what point does the parents of the children take responsibility and remove there child from the scene. MZ Badu is an artist and an unbelievable soul and awareness to go with it and i believe her intentions was to wake people up to a knew way of being and this outrage proves we are not ready yet.

she should have been fined a lot more. There is nothing wrong with nudity in a video but they could have had a closed set where children were not exposed to this. Erica should know better.
For people that say the love freedom and don’t like or respect the law when somone holds a gun to your head at gunpoint-I bet you want like so much freedom then. You will be the first to call the police. Laws are made to protect not to cage you in. Who was going to protect the small kids/teens etc. that had to look at her naked tail in shock.
