The show will beam into your living rooms via CBS at 8pm this Sunday night, and we’ll be live-blogging it; I’ll also be bringing you my usual semi-live blog coverage of rehearsals for the next three days, as well as keeping you up to date on all the breaking news and exciting happenings here in the vast Neonopolis of Nevada. Yes, that’s right: exciting.
First bit of exclusive news! Gloriana, Joey + Rory, and Luke Bryan — Top New Artist contenders all — have been added to the lineup of performers for the big show. They join already announced headliners like Brooks & Done Dunn (last time I’ll make that joke, I swear), Lady Antebellum, Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Blake Shelton, Tim McGraw, Miranda Lambert, and your hostess with the mostess, Ms. Reba McEntire. Stay tuned here for scoop on all those performances, as well as (hopefully) interviews with the stars themselves. The stars absolutely love it when I shove my tape recorder in their face right after they finish rehearsing. Yes, that’s right: love. it.
Now I want to hear from you, country fans: Who are you excited to see? Who do you most want me to interview, and what should I ask? Who’s your vote for Entertainer of the Year? And if I wrote incendiary things here about Carrie and/or Taylor, which fanbase would leave more comments defending their favorite blonde?

If it weren’t for some stupid fan voting Chris Young would probably be winning Best New Artist and performing at the ACMs. Nothing against Joey & Rory who I like.
Looking forward to the performances from Miranda, Carrie, Brad, Keith, and John Fogerty whatever he’s doing.

Anyone know if Sugarland is performing? *Love* them. Will be fun to LadyA and Miranda Lambert perform as well – I’m a huge fan of LadyA’s song “American Honey.” Hope they sing that one!
Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton would both be great interviews, especially if you can catch them together.
anyone else find it curious that taylor gets nominated the first time entertainer of the year is decided by votes????? it’s the only way she can/will WIN!! if it were based on pure talent, anyone else would deserve it. but nope, she kills on the votes. BS!!

Reba will be a great host once again. And of course, I’m glued to the TV anytime I see KU or Brad Paisley performing. My vote for Entertainer? Brad, because he’s never won it and he deserves it. If not him, then Keith

Lady A! Hope they perform “American Honey” and be fun. I liked their snow at the CMAs for “Need You Now”.
