NBC has announced the lineup for the Today Show‘s 15th annual summer concert series, which Sting kicks off on May 14 with a 30-minute set from his upcoming tour with the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra. Katy Perry will close the season on Aug. 27.

Is there a way to go see them? Do you have to get tickets/passes to get in that designated area?
The concerts are free. I went to see Beyonce 2 yrs ago. Just try to get down to rockefeller plaza (near 50th and 5th ave) in nyc early (5am or earlier) so you can get a good spot in the audience. I will definitely be going to see Christina Aguilera and Maxwell.
I’d be sure to avoid going anywhere near 30 Rock all of those days.
