So happy for Carrie! Taylor cannot sing a lick and it is about time the voters see that and act accordingly! How she won those CMAS and Grammys is still a mystery!
The CMAs & Grammys are voted on by the industry and panels, not by fans calling in like on Idol. That’s how Taylor won those.
First off, I’m sad that Carrie didn’t win FVOTY. But I’m glad that she lost it to someone who deserves it. Go Miranda! It was a long time coming! Miranda deserves the recognition. Congrats to Carrie for making history once again. God bless!

Glad to see Taylor Swift shut out of everything. She should be winning awards for writing, never for singing or performing. Miranda Lambert deserved her wins.
how about overall artist? clearly you and a few on here do not like her vocals. but you can not deny even after what you claim to be bad performances on these shows, peopel still sell her concerts out at record numbers. these are live shows people are paying to see. so clearly you put two and two together and it overall majority people like her voice, like her songs, and like her.
Taylor is getting the Miley C. Hanna tween groupies and time will tell if her fans grow up with her, or move on to someone new. Yes, she made a big splash and they are the ones who buy cds, attend concerts and then move on. TSwift does not have the power vocals of Carrie U. and is an ok performer, but in 5-10 years, I predict Carrie will still be a power vocalist and TS will go the way of Miley-try acting, as she is not a very good vocalist.

I like Miranda, but she did not deserve to win album of the year. ACMA’s showed what fraud’s they were whne Taylor did not win. Taylor, by far, most album sales in 2009. By any artist.
Miranda can’t even head line a tour. I now she is going to try this summer. Hopefully she booked some very small houses.
Instead of getting catty can we say how great it is that women rocked the awards? And got lots of performance time? A few years ago women were poorly repesented in the nominations, let alone winning.

Glad for the Miranda win, but have to correct everyone saying she’s been underlooked or ignored. She won ACM album of the year two years ago, and I think best new artist the year before that. And has had lots of ACM nominations over the last few years. They’ve been supporting someone who delivers the goods.
The only reason Taylor sells alot of concert tickets is because she is POP not country! Those little tweens are the same fans going to Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers! They would NEVER go to a George Strait concert or a real country show. Taylor sang with Katy Perry and John Mayer in her shows. She never sings with country acts because she is not country! She remixes all her songs and is a pop sellout posing as country to manipulate the system to sell more albums and get famous. She is about as country as SNoop Dog, and needs to just be a pop singer already. She can’t sing anyway, so she will fit right in to pop.

Carrie Underwood sold WAY more albums of Some Hearts then Fearless, as Carrie’s album is 7x platinum, not 6x platinum.
Carrie has won more awards then Taylor, and is much more respected. Carrie doesn’t remix her songs to pop and sellout to make a quick buck. Taylor is not even from the South anyway. She is from PA and not even country.
Carrie plays guitar and piano, writes many of her own songs too. Most importantly, she sings circles around Taylor and everyone knows that.
Attention Taylor Fans: The ACM EOTY is mostly industry voted, with only 25% of the votes from fan votes. So Carrie won it by industry votes too, with only a small portion of the fan votes counting.
If you don’t believe me, go read the official rules on the ACM site that states it is only partially calculated by fan votes.
And by the way, you weren’t boasting that fan votes are BS when your precious Taylor won all those AMAS and CMT buckles from fan votes, now were you. Did those awards not mean anything then since they are only fan voted? lol
