Alright, ever since I have heard of the Madonna Episode I have thought they should do more. Britney? HELL NO! She is so not even close to being the Icon that some musicians are right now. Madonna=ICON! Britney= Talentless hack who has a great body so she is able to sell a lot of albums. How about an all Beatles episode? Or an all Michael Jackson episode? Or Whitney, or Mariah, or Elvis, or Bon Jovi, or 100 other artists before Britney should ever be considered. My personal pick is an all Michael Episode. They just did the Queen of Pop, lets do the King now.

actually if you get a chance to listen to Lady Gaga’s voice…she has MUCH more talent than Brittany..plus she plays the piano AMAZINGLY well!

I think Britney’s music is iconic after 10 years. Maybe not to the iconic status of Madonna. But she is still around after 10 plus years and all her music is pretty catchy. I don’t know if a whole episode is wise. But do think several would be interesting. I could see many of her songs being used around situations in Glee. And given Britney’s music is geared towards the young crowd; I can see it. So I say go for it.

In my opinion, it would be better than the Madonna episode. Britney might not have the most prolific voice, but her songs come from great writers would sound amazing glee-ified. I could totally see Rachel doing a round of Hit Me Baby one more Time…and Finn with Oops I did it Again…
No. One big theme episode was enough. Let’s get back to business with plots and songs that spring from the plot, not the other way around.

Personally, I don’t want them to do an all *anyone* episode anymore. They had their big event now lets get back to a good mix of songs that supports a good story.
Mercedes should do “My Perrogative”…I know Britney just covered it, but it would be fan-freakin-tastic!

I think it would be a horrible mistake to do an all Spears episode, but maybe a 90s Pop episode would be ok? Some britney, some christina, some boy band songs..
Also I really want them to do an episode with songs purely from musicals. I’m dying for Leah and Mercedes to do a diva show-down with Take Me or Leave Me from Rent!

No.No.No.No.NO. Part of the fun of the show is the diversity in music choice. I like it when the music fits the storytelling, not when the music sets the storytelling. I’m not opposed to an occasional Brittany song, but a whole episode? Forget it. Bad precedent. A few of us tolerated the Madonna episode but would prefer to stay away from the “centric” episodes.
