Man, that was disappointing. The uniqueness of the band was completely lost in a generic rock song, and the mix was horrible, too. I’m not sure why they even bothered with the instruments when you couldn’t hear them. Drop Tedder and go back to what made you interesting, please!
I hate to admit it, but your comment is spot on. I loved the way they sounded (and looked) on NGAB, but last nights performance just didn’t seem like them.
I saw them perform last night w/ Carrie in Chas. WV and they were awesome.
I was going to fast fwd through them, but then carrie underwood told me not to. About three notes in, I was like, OMG are these the guys I loved from Next Great American Band?! They sounded absolutely incredible last night. They had the same genuine passion that I loved about them on Band. I bought their album this morning!
Wondered who those guys were — they’ll be in Columbia, S.C., with Carrie Underwood on Saturday. They didn’t seem very country . . . .
I love the Clark Brothers (sorry guys – you’ll never be Sons of Sylvia to me!). My brother made the semi-finals of NGAB, and he said the Clark Brothers are the nicest, most down to earth guys ever. Not the strongest singers, but holy crap they’re talented musicians. I love it!
What band is your brother in?
JUST WANTED TO KNOW HOW YOU JUSTIFY PREACHING ONE DAY AND LIVING FOR SATAN THE NEXT???THE BIBLE SAYS EITHER BE HOT OR COLD. IF YOU ARE LUKEWARM GOD SAYS I WILL SPEW YOU OUT!!! WERE YOU PSYCIC WHEN YOU WERE CALLING PEOPLE OUT FOR PRAYER????
I’d pay to get a compilation DVD of their performances on “Next Great American Band”; they were incredible… A bit disappointed that their first album apparently won’t have the bluegrass/gospel twinge to it, but I’ll be buying it anyway.
Uhhh…Kings Of Leon may be a bit miffed their name was copied kind of. But what’s in a name? The music rocked.
I adore the Clark brothers & have had that song in my head all day! Gotta get that album. Ashley is so damn intense & he just knocks me out. I love the makeover, Ash! You are one heartbreaker. Loved you on NGAB & are the only reason I watched that show. Hope you make it BIG because you are an authentic musician!
I remember when your family came to our church in California. We saw you on American Idol and are so happy for you. Love the song and am going to buy your album. Praying everything goes well for your group.
omg i met them last night they were awesome and gotta pic wid them i got tha cd and i love it !!!!!
I’d like to see these guys move in the direction of their version of “Gimme Shelter” type material, and create a new genre. Bluegrass/Rock.
…or whatever that was

Why, yes, as a matter of fact, I did recognize them. I have their new CD and love it! My fav is ‘Like John Wayne’. Love them!
