I love it!! She’s always very creative in her videos….
I like the retro aesthetic of the video, but I’m with some of the critics here. I’m tired of female pop stars doing the glamor shot/rub myself all over thing. It’s boring–we’ve “been there, done that” thousands of times before. But I guess it’s cheaper than having dancers and other performers in the video.
I used to REALLY love Beyonce.
But then i saw this.
She COMPLETELY copied off of GAGA.
(except GAGA would do it much better)
I guess she thought she could
since she worked with her already.
WRONG.
This video is riciuous & not original.
Someone before said that she feels threaten
by her power & how she might
become bigger than her.

Beyonce is literally my idol, I’ve loved her since “No, No, No”. However, I get it when people say ‘what happened to singers like Jewel and Sheryl Crow”. There should be more singers that simply sing, using their voice as a crowd pleaser and not their bodies. But then I thought about it again; some women like to wear sexy clothing and be open about their sexuality. There’s nothing wrong with that either. But I do think it should only be okay when you have talent (like Beyonce). If you’re just using sex and you’ve got nothing else to offer but your body…well then it’s kinda slutty.
