Yeah love is a perfectly fine topic to write songs about, but it’s not about the subject, it’s about execution. She depends on autotune too much, most of her songs are plain boring and her lyrics are terrible. You can express that feeling of teenage, innocent love we all can relate to, but please when you put it into words don’t make it sound so retarded. I guess she’s pretty much harmless, but I don’t understand what all the hype is about. Shara Worden is talented. Laura Marling is talented. Regina Spektor is talented. Tegan and Sara are talented. Taylor Swift is not.
Okay first of all.. I’d like to know how all of you people were raised. It’s honestly SAD that you were never taught the simple rule of thumb, “If you don’t have anything nice to say then don’t say anything at all.” It’s so pathetic that you would waste precious time out of your day to post your completely RUDE opinion of a talented young woman! This is a prime example of the idiocy stemming in America today! What a disgrace.
And so, with that said, let me also add that Taylor Swift is one of the few talented artists left. She’s young, beautiful (inside and out) a wonderful role model for the younger generation NOT TO MENTION she writes every single song she puts out there herself. There isn’t many like her left people. Sad, but so true. You by no means have to like her music, just why must you be so hateful?
Taylor, I love your music. Keep doing what you’re doing. You’re amazing:)
What is she supposed to write about? really think about it- most songs by most artist are about love in some way. eminem, slipknot, james brown…..they all sing about it. is she supposed to sing about her bills? considering how well she has done in the last 4 years i think she is doing just fine.
I love Taylor & all of her songs. She describes everyday life. There’s always someone out there who’s gotten hurt by someone they love, and most of Taylor’s songs can get you through that. Love is an everyday thing. All of you people that have negative comments on here need to grow up. You most likely work at Mcdonalds and have no life.. Even if you don’t. You have no right to criticize her. I’d love to see you step up and sing half as good as she does. Think about it. Taylor’s songs are the first thing I turn to when I’m crying and don’t know where to go next. Taylor Swift inspires me, and she is definitely my idol. I can’t wait for the new album! (:
