Oh man, this is already looking as good as New Moon! Keep it rollin’!
Muse, Metric, Bat For Lashes, Sia, Vampire Weekend, The Bravery.. this is gonna be the best! Yeah morons just because I support a mainstream pop artist like Justin B. doesn’t mean I hate great music. It’s more the fact that old men bashing on a kid are morons and need help
Have a great day!
Wow, I cannot wait. It sounds like its going to be a great soundtrack…
Whatever you may say about the Twilight movies, they do have great soundtracks.
Is it sad that I am looking forward to the soundtrack more than the movie?
haha, omg ME TOO!
Blasphemy! ha
Hehe I am looking forward to the movie too. Just a little more worried about the latter.
You’re not alone lol.
I was gonna say, it’s funny how movies so bad have soundtracks so great!
So far so good.
Kelly Clarkson needs to lose some weight.
the only reason I can like Twilight as I can’t stand the actors, the characters, & the whole sexy Vampire craze. The movie Soundtracks.
It seems like they don’t worry to much about the movie, they know people are going to go see it. So they put in a great amount of effort in the soundtrack, which sounds like its going to be great…yet again.
I just can’t believe they get the best artists out there (Who repeatedly must maintain their “cred” and respect as “true artists”) to be on these horrible movie soundtracks…
** I meant the movie series…obviously the soundtracks aren’t horrible…
Wow, kudos Wil! What a fresh new comment regarding the musicians lending themselves to Twilight!
Why don’t you and your kind understand that if these artists CHOOSE to align themselves with this franchise, it’s because they WANT to. They aren’t concerned with their cred or respect being compromised and you shouldn’t be either. Just completely daft. Get over yourself AND your cd collection.
Coming from your mouth I’m going to say I take that comment with a grain of salt. After all you stalk a 16 year old boy through EW.com leaving threats and hate/spam messages. Sorry but I can’t respect anything you say on any other forum on here seriously.
I agree with Ambient. I think that fans of these musicians really need to fact check themselves when they start criticizing these bands for putting themselves on these soundtracks. You are supposed to be supporting them. Not everyone has to be snobs about this.
Yeah, I wish these artists wouldn’t agree to do Twilight stuff.
But I guess they want to make money
I think it’s great that they do because the soundtrack gives them exposure to so many people who otherwise would have never known about them. This would have been a shame because I would not have fallen in love with the many artists on the twilight soundtracks as I did. And on the topic of artists maintaining their cred, it’s not like they get on the soundtrack and they start making crappy, autotuned music. They’re still creating great music.
This is so exciting! I adore Beck– yay!
whats up
This is very cool!))))
These movies are atrocious but I will give them credit for having terrific soundtracks. If it takes being affiliated with the sparklepire fad for some of these artists to get recognition, so be it. Quality literature is already apparently lost on many of these people, why hold out on quality music, too?
haha, agreed, if this monster of a franchise get’s more people to check out these amazing bands then all is well for me.
Just the fact that this soundtrack has Bat For Lashes on it, makes it a winner in my book already! Can’t wait to hear it.
Florence!!!!!!!!! New music by her no matter where it is is always welcome!
Florence too, love her!
Why does a book series that sucks and has less-than-average movies have such good soundtracks?
Whoever is in charge of the music (both the soundtrack and the composers) is apparently the only person with any affiliation to the series with any taste or basic common sense.
Kristen Stewart.
I don’t know if Stephanie Meyers has any hand in it but she likes a lot of good music. She is a huge Muse fan, it’s no coincidence that they are on all 3 soundtracks so far.
best thing about twilight is the soundtrack…just being honest..and im not a hater
Too bad the films (and the books for that matter) aren’t as good as the soundtracks.
